VIT Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology's placements are above average. Students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester itself. Companies like Nvidia, wipro, tcs, etc visit our college. Ninety per cent of students get placed during company interviews.

The college claims its placements are very good and average salary of 12.18 lpa as per their stats (talking about cs core) . Big names likes Jp morgan, amazon, microsoft, deutsche bank , nvidia and many other companies do visit the college during placement period . Around 90% students which sat for placements gets placed which is very good thing . Also the students gets internships during 3rd year of the college and most of the internships are paid . Students become eligible for placements from 6th semester itself. Placements in this university is the major field of attraction for the students. Companies like cognizant, Accenture, amazon visit the campus.

The college is having very great placement every year and the number of students placed every year increases by some two percent. There are around 500 + companies visiting around the campus every year and giving 1500 + of offers every year. Average package last year was 11 lakh for the computer science branch and the oral package for the college was 7.3 lakh. The highest package till now is 51 lakh given by Microsoft. I plan to go for my placement after my degree.

VIIT is ranked as 4th college in Pune and 9th in overall Maharashtra. This also states that it has quite good placements having an average package of 12 lakhs per annum. The placement cell of VIT and VIIT is same.

There are good placements at the college. From 6 th sem onwards you can try for placement. Almost 150-200 companies visit campus and 90% of students are placed. The highest package for last year was 33 lpa and the average was about 7.7lpa. I am going for a master's in the US.

There are hundreds of companies visiting campus with giants like Nvidia, BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, and many more but each student can only make one offer. If you get one offer you are out of the placement activity. The highest package offered as I remember is by Nvidia i.e. 33LPA and the average lies from 5-7 lpa. The placement percentage as per last year's record is 85% - 90%.

From 3rd year students get the opportunity for internships where companies visit timely and students give interview they choose the best students and give 40k to 60k a month for the intern and the best intern get placed there, in the fourth year students get placement companies like JP MORGAN, BITWISE Infosys and Philips, currently I'm in 4th so I am giving an interview for placements.
