VIT Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The faculty is good at teaching at my college. Our college has a nice campus although we dont have a proper sports ground, in our college there are no sports periods or extra curriculum periods still I think our college is not well at extra curriculum.

Placement due to recession is pretty bad still highest package was recorded this year and next year will be even bigger because of the web3 culture here as web3 is the only field that is offering tremendous packages to freshers

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology's placements are above average. Students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester itself. Companies like Nvidia, wipro, tcs, etc visit our college. Ninety per cent of students get placed during company interviews.

The college claims its placements are very good and average salary of 12.18 lpa as per their stats (talking about cs core) . Big names likes Jp morgan, amazon, microsoft, deutsche bank , nvidia and many other companies do visit the college during placement period . Around 90% students which sat for placements gets placed which is very good thing . Also the students gets internships during 3rd year of the college and most of the internships are paid . The college is having very great placement every year and the number of students placed every year increases by some two percent. There are around 500 + companies visiting around the campus every year and giving 1500 + of offers every year. Average package last year was 11 lakh for the computer science branch and the oral package for the college was 7.3 lakh. The highest package till now is 51 lakh given by Microsoft. I plan to go for my placement after my degree.

From 3rd year students get the opportunity for internships where companies visit timely and students give interview they choose the best students and give 40k to 60k a month for the intern and the best intern get placed there, in the fourth year students get placement companies like JP MORGAN, BITWISE Infosys and Philips, currently I'm in 4th so I am giving an interview for placements.

From TY you become eligible for campus placements. many companies start visiting colleges at the start of TY. Barclays is one who came for placements and gave us nice placements. But if we talk about ratio they select very means 3/60 that the ratio. I want to do MS from the US in Data Analytics.

My course is btech computer science. I always had a thing for computers and so I chose this field. The first year is common for all branches and all the branch students are mixed and alloted classes till the second sem. In the third sem, the classes are alloted according to batches but still, the course syllabus is the same for the third sem too. My college has a great staff, and highly trained and educated professionals who help us through this journey and guide us for our project. Vit Pune is an autonomous college that is it governs itself it has the whole autonomy over when and how to take exams, here most of the marks are given to projects, assignments, and attendance, and the theory portion is given very less weightage so passing the exam is not at all difficult.

The placements of this college are the thing which this college is known for. Many companies visit this college for campus placements. Also, there are compulsory internships for students through which many students get pre-placement offers.

The students get internships in the 5th sem which is in the 3 rd year of college. The placements are in the fourth year. and almost all get placed in the first month and the rest get placed in the coming 3-4 months.
