I liked the courses like robotics, project management etc
I like the suitable timing of college which is flexible
I like the pratical sessions and they made compulsion to make projects

Dislikes

Our college campus area is too short and beside environment is very bad
Event organised in colleges are sometimes charged to attend
College hostel is far away from college which makes student difficult to travel

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology's course curriculum is very relevant and comprehensive. The courses provided are very practical-based knowledge and not that much theory-related. General proficiency is one of the courses which develop our personalities and skills required for interviews.

Internships Opportunities

Vishwakarma Institute of technology's internship opportunities are very better. Nvidia and Amazon companies have visited during the internship period. They provide roles like software engineer and web developer.

Placement Experience

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology's placements are above average. Students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester itself. Companies like Nvidia, wipro, tcs, etc visit our college. Ninety per cent of students get placed during company interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology's fee structure is very decent. There is the availability of scholarships for those who are eligible. The total cost of my education is 192000. Our college provides financial assistance for the help related to fee structure.

Campus Life

I had a great experience during my eight months of college life. The tech event name held in our college was Vishw Tech Spectra. The biggest event held in college was vishwakarandak which included sports, drama, and entertainment. These events are held over a period of three to four months. I have yet not entered any of the clubs but they are very interesting.

Admission

The admission process was a little tough and lengthy. We can get the application form directly in college and application fees and application dates are visible on the college website. I didn't like admission taken through donation.

Faculty

Vishwakarma Institution of technology's faculty members are well-qualified in their respective fields. Faculty to student ratio is also better. Faculty members are very good at mentoring and are very helpful. They are very friendly while interacting with them.

As out batch is of 2024 Covid batch there has been no such placement occurred but after that the ratio has increased

Life of a mech_engineer at VJTI

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
