Course Curriculum Overview

4

> The course syllabus is set very specifically to match the demands of the current Industrial needs. > The course syllabus provides flexibility and is very student-friendly, making it great for students who are ready to learn and put some effort into their education. > Exams, including the UT1 and UT2, have a decent amount of time between them, which allows students to study for the exams stress-free. > The college also provides preparatory leaves for exam purposes. > The current course structure is very balanced with theory and practicals.

Internships Opportunities

3

>> The IT companies and the recruiters include Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Technook, etc. >> Majorly, the internships were offered as Software Developer Intern, System Engineer Intern, etc >>The students got placed in Cloud tech, Java and Python developing, web developing, full-stack, DevOps, and non-coding jobs.

Placement Experience

3

> From the 4th semester itself, students can go on a off-campus intership with the permission of the college department; the college takes care of the students' attendance. > While mostly students start looking for an internship from the 6th sem onwards. >About 80-85% students were placed from the final year, and the rest many chose to pursue higher studies in foreign countries. > The highest package went up to 12-13 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA, on the other hand the average package was 6-7 LPA. > The top recruit companies are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro.

Fees and Financial Aid

>Total combined college fee is 1,65,000 per year for the open category in B.Tech. Engineering, for any branch. The totak college fees keep on changing every year. > The total fees for obc category are 79,000 per year, and for the ST sc category, it is 7,000 per year. > There are a lot of scholarships that the students can benefit from, ranging from government to private scholarships > The hostel fees for the 2024 boys' hostel were 31,000 per year and 26,000 for the mess, but for the 2025, the hostel fees were revised and changed to 42,000 per year for triple sharing and 30,000 for the mess. The new international hostel rooms cost 65,000 for a single room and 55,000 for a double sharing room (excluding the deposit). Mess fees are to be paid separately, which is 30k per year.

Campus Life

4

>> The college hold a major college cultural event called Virangola. Which is the major attraction, and students from a nearby college hope to join in. >> The college also holds a sports tournament for many sports, including football, volleyball, cricke,t and kabaddi. >> The college has state of a art library, which is the best building in the entire college campus. Equipped with tons of books on any topic of engineering you can think of. >>One of the best things about the college is the presence of the college's technical and non-tech clubs. These include motorsports clubs like for Luftwaffe, Nequit, and Team Galatus. Other clubs such as space clubs, coding clubs, etc

Hostel Facilities

4

>>The facilities of the normal boys' hostel are decent, but are a bit on the pricey side. >> The International Hostel is a value for money and provides a lot of facilities. >> The meal is on the better side, which is clean and better than the general colleges that you generally see. >> Registration process is pretty much offline. >> The locality also has PG hostel rooms which are cheaper and some provide even better facilities at a lower price point.

Admission

> The other college I applied for was very good in terms of their college life, but the student didn't seem to focus on their career, and were mostly interested in enjoying their college life. > One of the major reasons was the weather and climate of this place, which made it very comfortable to work here. >The college accepts students from the MHCET Exams, JEE and also has an open admission round (management quota). > The cut off for Computer Engineering was 90 percentile in MHCET (open category).

Faculty

4

> There are enough faculty members for each and every branch/ trade > The faculty members are well educated and teach very well > The professors are quite approachable and support the students who want to learn more than the college syllabus. >I liked Sunil Yadav sir, because of his jolly mood and his life advice, which he used to give to the students who were having a mini break during the lecture. > On some days, I didn't like the behaviour of a few faculty members, but they, too had their reasons to scold and hold the students accountable for their actions. > Their current system has 2 unit test per semester, of 25 marks and 2 internal assessment exams and an end sem exam per semester of 100 marks per subject.

Interview Experience

4

>> There was no interview or any group discussion, or written test for admission. It was like any other Engineering College with a merit-based admission. >> The admission takes place from the government cap rounds. >> To get the best branch in any college to top priority must be kept on the top. Sometimes a student has to wait till the last round to get the desired branch. >> The cut-off for the computer engineering branch is the highest in RIT, followed by AIML, IT, and ENTC. >> A variety of documents are to be submitted during the admission process.

Night Life

3

>> The college's International gym is among the top-rated gyms in the entire western Maharashtra. It was inaugurated by Mr. Nitin Gadkari. >> The college has a cafeteria on the 4th floor of the library and many snack centers. >>The library closes by 10 pm. >>The hostel gate opens at 5 am and closes at 10 pm. >> Most of the students prefer the cafes outside the college gate to hang out. >> The college has many cafés and general stores just outside the college gate.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
