Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is good at teaching at my college. Our college has a nice campus although we dont have a proper sports ground, in our college there are no sports periods or extra curriculum periods still I think our college is not well at extra curriculum.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is 2 lac. In our college open category has no type of scholarship. but people of obc, nt have scholarship and they just have to pay half of the fees as compared to open category people. but this problem is everywhere

Campus Life

As per me our college campus is very beautiful in our college there are lot of trees that is one more precious thing in our college thats why i most like this campus and talking about club is we have approx 50 clubs

Admission

My admission was through a spot round in my college my branch cutoff was 98.6 but at spot round, it came up to 97.3 my score was 97.666 that why I get my admission in VIT, Pune college. I like the spot-round admission type

Faculty

They are just very bad at teaching,our teachers are very well experinced but they dont know how to teach in the classes,however the subjects are new in our college they try to match the new subjects,some teachers are very nice at teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
