Remarks
The admission was taken on the basis of 10-12th marks (minimum 75% in maths, physics, and chemistry). JEE score was considered and an interview was taken. Based on achievements in CET and overall performance, admission was provided. A great way to consider a student. There are no quotas for getting admission to VIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are well educated and have a 'minimum' experience of 1 to 1.5yrs. Every teacher is skilled in their particular fields and is a joy to get educated in such a harmonic way. There are at least 4 teachers for a particular subject, each teaching miraculously better than the other. Also, talking about the course, I chose BTEC cause it excites me to know more about the future that lies within human hands, and studying with such a faculty adds all to it! Talking about the exams, they are well-timed and spread throughout the year. There's a certain pressure, which is of course a good thing to go with and the paper pattern is balanced. The paper isn't that difficult; if you study. A good way to learn. Even the projects in themselves teach us in every way.
Fees and Financial Aid
A student pays about 1.85 lakhs for a year including everything. That's the basic fee structure. If we look at the given opportunities, there are so many clubs and so much to do that I can't explain in this limiting 1000-words. Even the teachers are providing enough opportunities to start with. Just awesome! If you are extraordinary in academics, the college even provides a scholarship (depending on the achievement) and financial assistance. All good companies come over for recruitment as VIT is one of the highlights in the college world. Freshers are provided with a well-fed package based on academic projects and CGPA.
Campus Life
There is a minimum of 4 fests every year including Vishwakarandak and more. Each fest feels like a celebration with added quality. There's always something more in VIT I would say. Talking about the books, the teachers don't want you to buy your personal books, cause there's everything you want in the library! From thriller to suspense, from horror to fun, from physics to chemistry, whatever you desire is present. If amenities are considered, every class is ventilated enough for a class of 60. Big board for better visibility and a projector for adding a 'plus' figure to our studying. Talking about the sports, there's a ground enough to have fun with friends and have a meal during lunch. Also, there are many extracurricular activities like robotics, mechatronics, football, basketball, athletics
