I chose this course because of my interest in psychology. And the curriculum of the course is very vast. The ratio between student and faculty is well maintained as there are 2 groups divided in each section for practicals and for theory the class is divided into 2 sections of around 30 students each. And there is 1 teacher for each subject and practical. The faculty is actually a mix some have PhDs and good experience in the field and the majority of the teachers have good teaching methods which are well grasped by students but on the downside BA Programme students are given new and less experienced teachers than BA Hons students. There are 2 main exams per year 1st being midterms in the month of December and 2nd end terms in the month of April both of which are relatively easy to pass but it's difficult to score excellent marks because of the scoring system for 65% and above attendance, difficult checking of papers, and difficulty getting full marks in internals.
The college management tries their best. Like any other institution, there are constant ebbs and flows, but you learn to rely on them. The officiating principal Sr Rosily is a kind and helpful figure. What can be made better are the prices of canteen food. Where most are willing to pay the high amount for the food, it can burn a hole in a student's pocket living far away from their families.
