Course Curriculum Overview

5

For psychology there are practical classes as well that gives student real time knowledge of psychology outside college. The syllabus are more or less same as ncert, just more elaborate. The readings provided by college has all the sources you need for better learning

Internships Opportunities

5

The Placement cell offers a huge variety of internships for all course regularly, it has ngos and community outreach as compulsory for second years as well. some companies include Yhills Edutech, CPRG, DigitallyMix, Rad beauty and many more

Placement Experience

3

placement is good . there's a placement cell thag offers internship opportunities regularly. Average package is around 15,000 /month.while highest goes around 47560/month for bachelors. For BCom student the chances of getting places in companies like Deloitte are highly

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 22,270.As it is a Christian Minority college, reservations are there only for Christian Minority and Single Girl Child Quota, pwbd quota. Additionally you only have to pay exam fees to the University of Delhi, There are many scholarship and financial aid available that keeps coming at the website right after admission and students can avail them at anytime

Campus Life

5

There arw festa almost every week. We have fests of every department ,of every society. The annual fest Montage is again one of the bests in DU. Intra college events take place regularly. There is a huge sport's field in which almost every sports is taught. there is an indoor gym as well with a trainer available. The Library is well equipped and has air conditioning as well.

Admission

I applied to Christ University, main campus, got admitted but I feel that Christ University lacks in giving student the freedom adults of this age require. Also it was a private university, didn't have its own hostel facility I Applied to Xavier's Mumbai, didn't get accept . for general category the last cut off goes as high as 97.85 (not best of three but average). For psychology in Delhi, Jmc is the second best college, after LSR. and rightly so. I have no regrets of choosing this college

Faculty

5

for minor classes, its 35:1 and for major it is 100:2 . The faculty for psychology is very good. the teachers help you out personally too if you seek their mentorship. There are 2 semester exams at the end of six months. Additionally there are internals in the form of assignment and class tests, presentation throughout the year

Night Life

3

The canteen has very reasonable and hygienic food. Its infact only college in DU that has non veg platter as well. There and auditorium, the stairs of which is infamous for hangouts. The amphitheater as well is always full of people hanging out in their free time. The gym fees is 1000/ month and has locker facility as well. However jmc has no hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and may be seen as average in aspect of my college . I selected my course as I saw myself holding potential in the field of language , English was my strong interest. The curriculum prepares a basic and needed knowledge for everyone accordingly and yes , it may be seen as an important aspect in higher education, experiences from professors and teachers is shared by live demonstrations and examples in order to achieve a good understanding. The improvement in the curriculum may be that of a much regular based classes as there is a frequent cut in classes and sometimes some teachers may slack during the day cancelling classes and stuff . The frequency of exams and timings are arranged and not much complicated related to my course and difficulty may be considered moderate .
