Likes

the crowd of students is a lot good with students of differnet backgrounds
good infrastructue and the ac classrooms

Dislikes

the sport facilities are not very good and need to improved
the culutre of biasness in the societites is not very good

Course Curriculum Overview:

i chode this course because i did not have many options after opting for commerce in class11 and the faculty ratio is alright we have a class size of around 100 and it is good though the exams were timely.

Hansraj College - THE TRUE PICTURE

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is awesome with all facilities available to explore
Vibe at the college is pretty cool. You wont get bored at all
Faculties are kind and always extended to support the students in case of any help required

Dislikes

College is not as big as expected. Quite small and quick to explore
The college is too crowded. You would find tons of people roaming around the college
Amenities in the college are only available for a specific time. It doesn't provide too much flexibility

Placement Experience:

Placements are available at the 3rd years and companies like Byjus, Accenture, KPMG, PwC, etc. - Highest package is around 36LPA and average package is about 8LPA - Students are advised to keep atleast a minimum of 7 CGPA for the placements. - I am currently exploring different opportunities.

Guide to HRC

My college hosts variety of BSC to BA to bCOM , the college is full of talented individuals and ofcourse, how can a HRCian not mention about King Khan , the pride of Hansraj college. It is so fun to be at Hansraj College. There are not r regrets for
Campus placement of Hansraj College is also very nice big companies including the big four firms also come to Hansraj
The infrastructure is also very nice.....

Dislikes

During recent years Hansraj has stopped organising annual fest
When we joined college the canteen was opened but for a very long time during elections that canteen was closed
The Hansraj hostel is not very good.....

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was easy.. I didn't find any problem in it .. Cuet is easy if you have clear concepts from the very beginning of the period General test was also easy.. even though it is not required for Bcom (hons)

Deep insight into hansraj

Likes

Library : library is well equiped and has good range of books
Sports facilities are good. All equipment are available.
Society : societies are good functioning

Dislikes

Canteen : canteen has started only few days ago.
Placements : placement level is okayish.
Fest : fest level is not upto mark. It could be better

Placement Experience:

Placement levels are average. Average package is around 8 lakhs And highest is around 36 lakhs. About 60 percent students get placement. Many companies visit. Around 50 like gshaw, dell, McKenzie, etc.

College life at Hansraj College

Likes

Infrastructure is good as classes are fully air conditioned.
Sports facilities are good as there is proper indoor court
Faculty members are highly qualified and supportive.

Dislikes

Canteens are not up to the mark but can sa satisfactory
Few sports like cricket do not have proper infrastructure.
Hostel size should be increased so that more students get accommodation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty is very good and highly qualified for commerce department in hansraj . Exams are also coducted timely and are easy to pass as they are based on previous year papers. Faculty to student ratio is around 1 to 60.

Hansraj : The dream land

Likes

The food is dirt cheap and quite tasty. The badminton court and ground facilities are very good. The social life at hansraj is something else and very lovable
The crowd at hansraj is from various diverse fields which makes it all the more diverse in thinking and mindset which enhances the beauty of hansraj
The teaching faculty at hansraj is something to be appreciated. The teachers are very talented and quite experienced. Some of them even have an experience of more than 30 years!! The methods are quite traditonal and effective

Dislikes

The washrooms of hansraj are very bad and smelly. The washrooms are something which are necessary therefore they must be at least clean and workable condition.
The main auditorium is not available for children and is not allowed for any event. It is quite a drag as the main auditorium is something which holds the essence of college
The principal of the college is quite orthodox in thinking. She dosent invite any modern singers or hold any concerts as she dosent support the western culture

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom hons as I wanted to have a little extra time for exploring various other professional courses such as ca and wanted to start preparing for mba after a while. Plus BCom was the main course related to commerce which I love. Faculty is quite experienced and diverse. Faculty :student ratio is also quite apt according to me . For each subject we have different teachers so it is quite convenient. Our accounts teacher is an ISB MBA PASSOUT whereas one teacher is Delhi school of economics passout so you get the gist of the experience of the teachers. Exams have not yet been started however the practicals which happened were quite smooth in procedure.

Delhi University - An Overrated Dream

The overall student life is awesome, lots of girls.
The DU badge is really good to flaunt among relatives.

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is bad, nothing special about it. The student ratio is decent. Teaching method is like school only despite the staff being qualified. The exams were decently timed and were moderate to pass

Overall Experience at Hansraj

Likes

I liked the vibe of the college and the crowd here.There is a lot of diversity
We have a number of societies for overall development
We have a number of courses offered in different fields

Dislikes

Bad infrastructure compared to private colleges
Average teachers and faculty.Self study is the only way to clear exams.
No fests or events occuer at hansraj which makes it boring.

From 5 semester students start grtting placed Around 100 companies visited and gave more than 500 offers Highest package was 36lpa Average package was 8lpa Percentage of students placed is not known Mba of job

A ship with two sides

I have liked the different events that occurs in hansraj college on daily basis and the food at canteen is very good at cheaper prices, I have visited many College but prices remaines higher then hansraj college it would be the best part
The infrastructure of hansraj college is amazing and the classroom are big enough to contains 100 of students sinors at my college are very helpful and supportive
At the end I would I am very greatful to get this college it's almost dream come true moment for me

Dislikes

There is no such big blunder at HANSRAJ COLLEGE but there is one disline about hansraj that canteen remained closed for almost 3 months and no senior at teacher has made any attempt to reopen the canteen it was very blunder creating situation for sen

Placement Experience:

The placement record of hansraj college is pretty much good because of the average package of approx 8 lpa which is good after srcc only Hindi and hansraj provides the best placement. In previous year approx 550+ recruiters have visited hansraj college and 75% of students got placed Students are eligible for the placement who are in 6th semester of college The highest package at hansraj college is 36lpa and average is 8lpa

A Casual and Straight forward Review

Likes

The college life is not as what I expected but it is decent according to me.
The diversity of students is also one thing that I would appreciate my college for.
The amount of things happening around you are numerous if you are here for fun only.

Dislikes

The faculty is not interested in teaching you that's the harsh truth.
You will make friends here but not like the school ones.
Money plays a very important role here in every aspect.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their VI semester. Last year all the famous companies including Big4 visited our campus and made around 540+ offers. The highest package was 36 lacs and average was approx. 8 lacs. Especially in my course most of the students get placed but it is just the opposite for the other courses except B.A.(Hons.) Economics and as for my plans , I also aspire to get a high placement after the degree

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
