Likes

Infrastructure is good as classes are fully air conditioned.
Sports facilities are good as there is proper indoor court
Faculty members are highly qualified and supportive.

Dislikes

Canteens are not up to the mark but can sa satisfactory
Few sports like cricket do not have proper infrastructure.
Hostel size should be increased so that more students get accommodation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is very good and highly qualified for commerce department in hansraj . Exams are also coducted timely and are easy to pass as they are based on previous year papers. Faculty to student ratio is around 1 to 60.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for unreserved category in bcom hons at hansraj is around 25 thousands and it is comparatively high as compare to other colleges in du . Scholarship are availble but maximum are forthowe who are financialy weak.

Campus Life

Infrastructure at hansraj is comparitively good as compare other colleges of south campus and off campus. College life is also good as there are many active clubs and societies . Sports facilities are up to the mark as there is an indoor badminton and table tennis court .

Admission

Admission all the du colleges are done through cuet exams which are started last year only. So for getting in hansraj or any other du college the very first step is to get registered for cuet ug . Registerations start generally from mid feb and exams arr usually conducted between may and june. The cutoff for bcom hons is comparitively very high it lies between 99 to 100 percentile for top colleges across du.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
