It is generally seen that 5 sem students become eligible for the placement. The placement opportunities are not very good here . Although I would say it is not bad but it needs improvement. Not everyone gets the placement

Library Resources - It is one thing that I liked most.
Diverse Environment - Student here from all over the nation, even from the other countries too
ECA's - like student run clubs/societies, sports, cultural fests

Dislikes

Limited Placement Information - As a second year student, Uncertainty of these
Frequency of claases in a week of core subjects

Placement Experience:

As a second year student, I'm not familiar with the placement details yet. Generally, students become eligible for placements in their final year. Companies visit the campus, offering various job roles with different salary packages. The percentage of student placed variesannually. After completing my degree, I plan to explore job opportunites dealer or consider for further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college and it's teachers and All the faculty is very effective and efficient. I think taking admission in college like hansraj is a dream of most of the students. According to me there is no need to change anything.

A wonderful college

Likes

Really loved the quality of students around me. They are very smart and inspiring.
Really loved the infrastructure of the campus with a lot of space compared to other colleges
The faculty is really good with supportive teachers.

Dislikes

A lot of focus is placed on attendance which sometimes causes trouble
College library is not open at all times during college time
The college ground is closed at the time of exams

Placement Experience:

There are many opportunities for placement for students in their final year. Companies like ZS, Kmpg, Deloitte, LEK offer placement opportunities to the students of commerce, economics, maths and computer science. The highest package last year was around 20 lakhs. More than 50 percent of students get placed. Rest of them follow higher education. My plan after getting my degree is to get placed in a finance company

Infrastructure is one thing which i liked the most
Societies and clubs are very active , i like their activities
Faculty is one of the best all across the DU

Placement Experience:

Placements are one of the best in hansraj across all du colleges . Hansraj has its own placement cell which is quite active and many companies visit college like Bain , Bcg etc.. Average package offered is 10 LPA in hansraj and highest is 35 LPA , Students of 3rd year are eligible to sit in placements

The Educational Convoy at Hansraj College

Likes

Amazing Infrastructure including Indoor Badminton Court
Multiple food stations for good and cheap food
Air conditioned classrooms help in summers

Dislikes

Bad food in canteen and less seating available
College is always under some sorts of construction
The college has several restrictions on usage on infrastructure

Placement Experience:

The college placements are coordinated by the placement cell. Almost 200+ offers are rolled out every year. The highest packags is 23 lakhs by Bain and average package is 8.7 Lakhs. Top recruiters includes Bain, De shaw, PWC, EY, Accenture, United Airlines, Delloite, Namo etc. Most opportunities are in consulting, Audit, Tax And HR fields. Majority studnets applying for placements get placements either through campus placement or private placement.

Great College

Likes

Socities and clubs are the best thing that I loved from the college since they help in personality development

Placement Experience:

Students in the final year of their college that is semester 5 become eligible for the placements. Don't have the exact number but companies visit the campus. The highest package this year was 21LPA for fiancial analyst. About 10-15 percent of the students participating in the placemetns got placed in a top tier firm

All about Hansraj

Likes

I liked the exposure Opportunities here. Hansraj being one of the topmost College of the country
I also like how we have got events, competition every month of the year which really leads to that holistic development.
The overall crowd of my course like there are some people who are not that good but we got some real competition.

Dislikes

There are a lot of people who do not deserve to be here and defame the College.
The very high reservations. I'm not against reservations but the benefits of reservations are taken by people who do not deserve it all.
The overall administration, it's slacking a lot the entire reason of the goodwill of the college is because of the students.

The placements are good, students become eligible from the 5th semester some companies that visited are PWC, Delliote, Bain and Co, De Shaw co etc total number of offers made 335+ highest package offered was 36.5LPA and average was around 8.6LPA+ and after the degree I wish to get placed.

All about Hansraj College

Likes

I like the sports garden, botanical garden the most.
Also all the classrooms have air conditioners
Professors are highly qualified and very helpful.

Dislikes

During the time of election there was disturbance that I didn't like.
Recess time in Hansraj College is also very short.
There is not enough space in library also shortage of books.

There are many placement opportunities in Delhi University. Many companies offer placement in Hansraj College like Bain & Co., Kearney, LEK Consulting, Accenture Strategy, ZS Associates, United Airlines, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
