Likes

I liked the exposure Opportunities here. Hansraj being one of the topmost College of the country
I also like how we have got events, competition every month of the year which really leads to that holistic development.
The overall crowd of my course like there are some people who are not that good but we got some real competition.

Dislikes

There are a lot of people who do not deserve to be here and defame the College.
The very high reservations. I'm not against reservations but the benefits of reservations are taken by people who do not deserve it all.
The overall administration, it's slacking a lot the entire reason of the goodwill of the college is because of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in it and I took it up in my +2 as well. The student ratio is about 90:1, the teachers are pretty qualified some are really good some can improve and coming to our term exams then we have two term exams per year known as semester and two internal exams just about a month before the semester exams and they are pretty easy to pass.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 25515 per year

Internships Opportunities

Recent companies that came for Internship are Paytm, Noise etc. I haven't got one from the college so i can't tell rest. I gave interview for one it went well but haven't heard from them as it was a couple of days before only.

Placement Experience

The placements are good, students become eligible from the 5th semester some companies that visited are PWC, Delliote, Bain and Co, De Shaw co etc total number of offers made 335+ highest package offered was 36.5LPA and average was around 8.6LPA+ and after the degree I wish to get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is pretty low as it is a government college and there's no hike atleast I'm not aware of it and I haven't availed any scholarship so I don't know much about it however there's one laptop scheme and one financial support scheme is there and they do this annually for people belonging to sc/st/obc categories with parental income below 800000 and 400000.

Campus Life

Our principal don't let any fest happen however we have 60+ societies and they conduct their annual and bi annual fest. The Library is well stacked in classrooms we have ACs pretty much class rooms are average not too bad not too good we have a ground and a basketball ground and a cricket team and a football team and student run clubs are a lot like 60+ but what makes it unique is the exposure Opportunities.

Admission

The admission is through an entrance exam called CUET and the eligibility depends on different course if you want to enroll in Bcom hons then the eligibility criteria is that you have to appear in 1Language + Accountancy/Maths + 2 other domains and you can only appear in those domain which you have studied in class 12th let's say if you haven't studied accountancy in class 12th and if you appear in it then Hansraj, DU won't consider it and you can find the application link on the portal or official website cuet ug

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

ALL ABOUT MOTILAL NEHRU COLLEGE ( EVENING)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
