Likes

I like the sports garden, botanical garden the most.
Also all the classrooms have air conditioners
Professors are highly qualified and very helpful.

Dislikes

During the time of election there was disturbance that I didn't like.
Recess time in Hansraj College is also very short.
There is not enough space in library also shortage of books.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently pursuing B.com. (Hons.) from Hansraj College. The faculty of Hansraj College is amazing and the professors are also highly educated and experienced. Due to Delhi pollution our semester exam have been postponed but it is ongoing right now.

Class Size: 115Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Hansraj College provide various internship opportunities as well with reasonable stipend. The societies of hansraj College also give opportunity to do internships. Also the internship cell of hansraj provide the information regarding internship.

Placement Experience

There are many placement opportunities in Delhi University. Many companies offer placement in Hansraj College like Bain & Co., Kearney, LEK Consulting, Accenture Strategy, ZS Associates, United Airlines, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for bachelor of commerce is ?25000 in Delhi University and it's is quite affordable. Hansraj College also offers various scholarship but I didn't get any because I am not eligible for them.

Campus Life

Life at Hansraj College campus is very nice. The college had been organised diwali fest and freshers' till now. The books in the library are not enough specially for commerce stream books. Sports ground is also very good.

Admission

To get admission in Delhi University we have to give central university entrance exam. I had selected economics, business studies and accountancy as subject to give cuet exam. Application fees was ?1500 and I get the reservation benefit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
