Course Curriculum Overview

4

The B.Com Honors curriculum at Hansraj College, Delhi University, aims to make learning easy, focusing on key subjects like accounting and financial management. However, students often feel they need more time to understand the material before exams, because core subject classes aren't frequent enough. Adding topics like digital finance, sustainability could make the learning experience even better. Overall, while the curriculum is good, having more frequent classes would help students understand the material better before exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

My college offers many internship opportunities though dedicated sell for internship. Top companies provide roles in different fields and pay stipends.During internship students work on projects to develop their skills. Overall, these opportunities help students gain valuable experience and exposure to industry.

Placement Experience

As a second year student, I'm not familiar with the placement details yet. Generally, students become eligible for placements in their final year. Companies visit the campus, offering various job roles with different salary packages. The percentage of student placed variesannually. After completing my degree, I plan to explore job opportunites dealer or consider for further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

At my college, the tuition fees have stayed the same for the past few years, which is around 24,000 rupees per year. This includes all necessary charges like service fees. There are plenty of scholarship available as far as of my knowledge for students based on their academic performances and financial situations aiming to ease a financial burden. Moreover, campus also offers various opportunities for students, providing them with work experience and stipend too. Overall, the college aims to make education more affordable and accessible for sure.

Campus Life

4.5

My time at HRC Hansraj College is going great. We are finally having CONFLUENCE, the annual cultural fest after gap of 4 to 5 years. The library is awesome with the wide range of books and journals for all lneeds. Classrooms are well equipeed with AC and projectors, sports and extracurricular activities are diverse from basketball to pluggate. There are also student run groups and club that make campus life exciting. Overall HRC offers fantastic college experience.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The Hostel facilities provided by the College are diverse and satisfactory. Compared to the rented PG, flats near DU University area, the hostel offers a convenient option. The registration process for the hostel is manual with forms are circulated around one month after admission. Overall staying in the college hostel is a practical choice.

Admission

The admission process for the CUET (Central University Entrance Test) for the B.com Honors course had specific eligibility criteria, including the necessity to attempt the accountancy exam. Application forms, fees and dates were available on the official cevt website managed by the National Trusting Agency (NTA). The exam typically occurs in May or June with application open from wid feb to late March. Fees vary based on the number of subject and shifts. Reservation benefits follow standard government criteria. The exam difficulty may gain due to rising participation. It spans two shift, and result and post exam processes could be edited for improvement. Overall, smoother exam conduct and faster post-exam procedures are areas needing attention.
