The faculty for student ratio in the college is 10 : 1. Most of the faculty in the college are approachable both for studies as well as personal issues. The Faculty who is one of the best in college is Prof. Pavneet Singh. Being a mechanical engineer, I have zero knowledge of Economics but under his guidance I was able to grasp most of the concepts of microeconomics. There are 6 terms during which we have to study almost 45 to 50 subjects. There are mid terms for few subjects in each term and end term for all. The marking scheme is grading type and the students are graded based on their score compared to the fellow class mates. 1st year is common for all and 2nd year students can choose electives depending on their choice.

The College timing for first year is 9:30 to 3:30, and around 4-6 Classes occurs daily The case-based teaching helps the students to study the actual business. Students gets the clear understanding about the business and their working. Curriculum also involves working on group projects so these projects also help in applying the learning that you have learnt in classrooms. The timely quizzes and assignments also help in revising the concepts and learnings that you have learnt in class. So, the overall curriculum was good. Attendance : 80% Mandatory. Attendance criteria is strictly followed and if your attendance for the semester for any subjects is below 80% then there will be a grade drop accordingly. Yes so many students get grade drops due to not maintaining the attendance. Quizzes used to have negative marking. Component wise weightage: Mid Terms – 20- 35% End Terms – 35 – 40% Quizzes – 10-15% Group Projects – 15- 20% Assignments and Class Participation – 5 - 10 %
The faculty are professionals who have a vision to nurture and mentor budding entrepreneurs and industrialists. They also motivate the students to explore beyond the text books. We are encouraged to learn our subjects on our own.
