Another important criterion to consider is the fees of the respective programs. IMT Ghaziabad’s PGDM Marketing fees is INR 19,53,000 while IIM Amritsar MBA fee is INR 8,00,000/Yr. 

Ultimately, both IMT Ghaziabad and IIM Amritsar are highly esteemed institutions, and whichever choice you make, what matters is how well you avail the offered opportunities and build a strong foundation for a successful career.

Considering the various factors that define a college’s worth, I personally think IIM Amritsar is better than the Department of Business Economics. I have arrived at this conclusion due to the following reasons

• The IIM tag no doubt is the major USP of any IIM. 
• The placement scenario is much better than that of the Department of Business Economics mainly due to the IIM tag
• Both curriculum and faculty are better at IIM and thus there is more accountability than DBE.
• The high fees you invest in in reality help you to be more sincere towards your program. You don’t take it lightly when lakhs of rupees have been spent. This is enough of a motivating factor.
