Placement Experience:

Final Placement also starts from August along with the Summer internships, Usually till February Most of the students get placed, but during our time placements was bit challenging due to market conditions. everyone does not get placed some opt out and those who did not get placed have to search by their own. Few students from my batch are still yet to be placed, Placements committee is bringing companies but those companies are not good or paying much lesser. In my opinion Placement Process should be done by Management or any Agency, Students should not be involved in the Placements role. When students are involved for placements and they have been provided with so much control and power they misuses it. The Placement Committee run by students does not work with transparency lot of misuse of power and control is being done by those students.

IIM Amritsar placements 2023 final report is released. According to the report, 120+ recruiters participated and offered Jobs to 257 Students. 25 PPOs were offered during the placement drive. IIM Amritsar highest package recorded at INR 36.25 LPA. IIM Amritsar witnessed a 12.85% Increase in Average Package which stood at INR 16.51 LPA while the median average package increased by 14.28% which remained at INR 16 LPA. IIM Amritsar top quartile average package increased by 10.95% which was recorded at INR 20.57 LPA. IIM Amritsar Summer Internship Placements 2024 final report is also released. 281 Students participated and received offers from 105+ top recruiters. The highest stipend was received at INR 2.40 Lakhs while the average stipend & median stipend remained at INR 82 K and INR 70 K respectively.
