Course Curriculum Overview
management concepts were strong and the foundation is cleared early. All the courses are updated and industry oriented. We had visiting faculties from various IIM's so they shared their insights with us. The courses are relevant and helpful for a student's future trajectory.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities in my college was one of the best. It provided a vast options to chose from irrespective of domain be it marketing or finance or operations. The companies were all providing good packages too.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Fee structure : Rs.1600000 (Includes course material and administrative expenses), Cautionary deposit of around Rs.100000, Hostel fees was included, Mess fees: Rs25000/Quarterly for 2 years. Category wise fees: Same fees for everyone except certain state scholarships that the student could claim. Fees on merit: Top 7 students had their fees waived off (Can be claimed on yearly basis) Government scholarships: Provided accordingly to the students state and can vary from person-to-person Various other activities fees included Sports fests, Cultural fests or even club fests which were run by student bodies and varied according to the various expenses for the event.
Campus Life
The overall experience was very energetic as we had various students from various background and the cultural mix was good too. The overall tech and equipment was according to latest standards and decent.
Admission
This college had the locational advantage and was mentored my IIM Trichy. Its faculties during my time were pHd scholars. Although I cleared 5 IIM's but the placement reports gave me a clearer picture of the year on year growth for this institute
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was around 1:60 and the relationship was very professional as they provided with their experience and gave various tips on how to be most effective and efficient. The exams are usually moderate and is not very rigorous.
Interview Experience
The whole process started right after the initial shortlist, then came GD and further interviews. Most IIM's had their own was of conducting the admission and offered various courses. PI round was the final round and I received the offer letter.
