Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was great, but could have been much better with real -life exposure and practical industry exposure which I feel kind of lacked, specifically in business analytics, on a resume you definitely prefer people who have had their share of projects.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities were great, there were more than 200 companies that used to come to recruit, and it is one of the best colleges when it comes to providing opportunities. and almost every management role were offered.
Placement Experience
The placements for current season were not as good as they used to be, it definitely could have been better, majority of the roles floated were of sales, and for business analytics there wasn't much roles as well as openings. But it also varied coz of macroeconomic situations.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the 2-year program is Rs 17,50,000, which includes Rs 16,00,000 for tuition and 1,50,000 for mess charges (25k/Semester). Hostel charges are included with no extra fees. The yearly breakdown shows 8,00,000 in tuition and 75,000 in mess charges for each year. and the above fee structure was the same for all the students irrespective of their category. There were various scholarships under state/ central schemes which college authorities which were shared over mail from our college higher Authority.
Campus Life
The overall experience was great, plenty of sports to play, football field, snooker table and my most favourite the badminton court, the life of the institute felt like Mumbai, the institute that never sleeps, just that the issue was with cabs, Ola and Uber users never accepted cabs.
Admission
So I wanted an IIM Tag, it really didn't matter be it new, baby or old, one definitely prefers old, but it is not feasible for many. So I chose the one nearby me and the one where I thought it'd be easy to commute from home to.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio was around 1:6 and the relationship between students was very professional and approachable. To be honest I really liked all of my faculty as I learned a lot from most of my faculty. and most of the faculty were very helpful as well as they all used to motivate all the students. We had around 45 subjects and difficulty level was moderate, and around 5-10 percent of students failed to clear that exam in each subject.
Interview Experience
Yes, majority of the colleges had interview rounds only, in which I appeared for, because of covid majorly the online rounds were there, there WAT test and other tests were removed because of Covid. The criteria was previous knowledge from bachelor degrees.
