Faculty

Faculty of our college is very good. All the faculty are perfect but sometimes something vary upon the student perception whether they were feasible in that case against him and they will be getting teaching subject tought by them or not. They all are highly qualified and are very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They all are doctorates in their respective subjects. Faculty is very good in terms of personal interaction. Not only the professor's but senior's are also a great asset. They guide thoroughly about the college, teachers and course in detail which being a fresher helped me a lot. In a semester there are 2 exams held . 1st is mid term . 2nd is end term and semester exam. Scoring marks in the mid term is very important as it decides everything about the students final marks as it carries very high credits midterms which is of 30 marks and continuous assessment of 10 marks which depends on the teacher of underclass assignments and the final semester exam is of 60 marks which happen at the end of every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is very well structured on each and every stream whether it is Finance, marketing, or HR, exam structure is good for this course. In MBA Human Resource the fields that are covered are Marketing management, business communication, managerial economics, Critical thinking, human resource management, legal aspects of business, etc. The second year focuses on specialized courses and industry projects. The student-faculty ratio is very good because of the small strength of the batch. Most of the faculty are IIM Graduates and all of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching methods used are case-based discussions, classroom activities, learning through videos, group, and individual assignments, writing research papers, and classroom ppts they guide well and clear all topics. The whole course curriculum provides a good amount of theoretical as well as practical knowledge to you. you attend all the lectures carefully and listen to all the things, then you easily pass all the exams.

Faculty to students ratio - 50:1. Faculty and students interaction is friendly. Teachers are Highly qualified and experienced in their Subjects. As of now Mrs Priyanka Mishra is one of the best teacher's present in the faculty. Their teaching methods is impressive they understand concept very well. There are two internal exams and one PUT( Pre University Test) before end semester exams. It is University so all the exams of all courses inside the campus but that doesn't mean you pass the exams without study. If you study on regular basis attended classes it's easy for you to clear the semesters exams with good Cgpa. Course curriculum is good easy and well managed.

Placement Experience

At the end of 4th semesters students will be eligible for placement Drive. University placement cell start training at the end of 2nd semester by taking Mock interview conducting mock placement Drive and many more so that when students sit in the On campus placement Drive they can grab placements according their skills and Courses. Approximately 80% students get placed in On campus placement Drive. Highest package is 18 Lpa and lowest is 2.5 Lpa. If I get my dream job I will take it otherwise I prepare for Government exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

20,000 per semester But for the first semester I paid only 16000 due to scholarships. Which was the last scholarship given by the university. One of my classmate didn't pay any fees as his father is army officer. One more thing in first semester there is an additional payment done by every student which is security fees 10,000 which is later on adjusted in the last semester if not used.

Faculty

Faculty and student relationships should be professional only not too friendly as it might cause conflict between students. Per semester there are 6-7 papers where 1-2 paper are easy but the rest are set complicated. Only one sir was the best Saurabh Sir. But he left as he found his passion

In our batch 210 students are studying. There are nearly 20 faculty members teaching the 1 st year students. All the facilities are highly educated most of them P.hd in reputed institutions . In the first semester there is nearly 12 papers having 150 marks each . There is one practical paper that is Excel for managers and one training assessment that is career advancement and skill development. Our college has strong faculty members in Finance and Human resource Specialization. Our Principal Dr. Umakant Dash has excellency in Marketing Sector . The course curriculum is up to date every year our college organising events such as industry meetup by which they draw meaningful insights on course curriculum and what the industries expect from the MBA grads . If i talk about the exam scenario then it is easy . Most of the students secure good marks in the examination but somehow some students unable to pass the examination. Although it is an autonomous college but there is strictness in everything. Students only able to seat in the examination if they have more than 75% attendance .

I took admission in Surya Dutt Institute in 2020. When I took admission, it was very difficult for me to choose which faculty would give me more career in the future. Then the professor at Surya Dutt Institute helped me a lot and asked me to pursue a career in Human Resources. There are many such faculties in Surya Dutt Institute.I didn't know much about this bicycle before taking admission in college. But when I enrolled in Human Resource Management and was able to understand it, I became more interested in it.You find the finance faculty very difficult because I haven't learned much in it, so I find it difficult because I don't understand the language that much.

Ques. Can I get admission in MBA HR? I am pursuing a BBA and want to know how much percentage is required to get admission in the college?

● Top Answer By Ankita Rathi on 21 May 24

Ans. Yes, you will be able to get admission in MBA HR if you are pursuing BBA. You will need to secure 50% marks during your graduation to be eligible for admission. You will be considered for admission in MBA on the basis of your score in CAT or MAT and your performance in GD-PI conducted by Christ. Your specialization of MBA is usually decided in the second year as in the first year you will have to study all the subjects. In the second year, core subjects are taught. Also, your major in graduation does not matter as everyone is eligible for admission considering you have secured the minimum percentage required. I would also suggest you to practice for GD-PI as your performance during these two sessions will matter and your overall score card will be decided on this basis. The competition is quite steep so make sure to give your best. Read more

Ques. How is XIMB BM in comparison with NMIMS HR?

● Top Answer By Akriti Gupta on 27 Sept 23

Ans. Pursuing a degree in HR from NMIMS would be a better option if it comes to educational excellence, ranking, infrastructure, campus life, hostels, or placement. If we draw a comparison between these two prestigious institutions then it would depend on various aspects. They are as follows: Ranking and reputation: NMIMS Mumbai, has ranked 21st among the best management institutes in India by NIRF 2023. This proves the academic excellence, infrastructural ability, placement success, and reputation all over India. Whereas according to the NIRF report 2023, XIMB ranked #46 among all the management schools in India. Accreditation: NMIMS Deemed-to university is accredited by NAAC with a 3.59 CGPA and Grade A+, whereas XIMB is accredited by NAAC with an "A" grade. Ques. How is an Mba HR placement in Amity University Noida?

Ques. How is IIM Visakhapatnam for an MBA in HR?

● Top Answer By Jatin Kumar on 21 Jun 23

Ans. Just like the new IITs, this is another one of those so-called IIMs that simply has the IIM name displayed on its building. The credibility of these institutes is severely lacking when compared to both their own students (though I certainly hope not the faculty) and the outside world. And justifiably so. Building up one's credibility and esteem requires time and effort over the course of many years. The ancient IITs didn't become household names overnight; rather, it took its students and staff a couple of decades to make their mark on the world stage, which is why they are known today. When I go to these types of institutes, I hear students bragging about how fantastic their own school is by mentioning some impressive placement packages that a select few students may have received or by claiming victory in some challenging competitions. I say that you should let the rest of the world judge your excellence. Why do you have to pound your own drum? Go to XLRI or TISS if you are serious about getting an MBA in human resources. They are unrivaled in this particular industry.Read more
