- I like the teacher way of teaching is extremely advanced level we have to know basics and the teaching level is good .
- The management is organising every semester fest and campus immersion is also there so it's good for our side .
Dislikes
- The mees food which we are eaten that i don't like because they are sometimes not even well cooked and many other things related to mess.
- There should be separate who are eating veg and who are eating non veg food but in that mess all are in same so it is really disappointing.
Fees and Financial Aid:
These course is online distance learning started by IIT Patna which I m pursuing in computer science and Data analytics from 2023 since and per semester fees for these course is ?40000 . But now there is increased in fees as known . Yearly I pay ?80000 for these course . There is no other fees registration fees etc... only we have to secures 60 % above in 12 and jee mains qualification that's it . No scholarship is available for these distance learning program.

Registration fee-2800 Semester fees(1-6)=46000 Semester fee(7-8)=56600 And alumini fee=6000 There are no any scholarship available for Indian students.scholarships are available for only foreign students.

Total fee for 3 year is around 276000 and per semester it cost 46000 for 3 year it includes tution fees, caution fees, development fees,lab fees and other compulsory charges. There is no admission fees just u have to paid 1 sem year whatever you like and registration fees is 2000. Sorry I can't show you fees details of my batchmates because this is confidential. There is many scholarship but I don't know yet.

The iit patna is national level honourable college which has prestigious achievements.if anybody want to get admission in college students must clear the JEE advanced exam .so the students here will be paying 183000 per semester as it's worthy too as u will provided with so many facilities

- Good alumni relations and experiences and helpful seniors

- The schedule is very much hectic here.Always we are in a rush
- Our class continue till 7 Pm which makes it sometimes annoying and irritating

Year wise fees was about 2 lakhs which was the tution fees and including everything like mess and hostel and other insurance related things it will be about 3 lakhs per annum or 1.5 lakhs per semester for the general or obc people. For the sc and st they dont need to give the tution fees of 2 lakhs.They need to pay only the hostel and mess fees

- Campus Culture and Social Life : IIT PATNA offers a diverse campus culture , e.g. this year students from 27 states came to IIT PATNA for their academics, but being a new IIT it is still evolving to give more exposure.
- Faculty and Mentorship: The professors of IIT PATNA are highly experienced and qualified,(some are included in top 2% scientist in the world).
Dislikes
- Strict Rules and Regulations: After 10 PM, it is not allowed to go out of the hostel (for both boys and girls).
- Large Campus Area: You need to have a bicycle here to roaming in the college although free bus service is there but it is often much crowded.

Yearly fee of this course is 92 thousand per year but the management is not good. In starting till now they promise for bihar students credit card but nothing seems like that. Its like a fraud. There is no loan facility. And they didn't receive your calls didn't reply your messages.

Is it better to study the CSE branch at 2nd generation IIT like Patna, Bhubaneswar, or prefer mechanical engineering at Roorkee, Guwahati, or Kharagpur?
According to me, opting for CSE at 2nd generation IITs like IIT Patna is a better option. IIT Patna was established as a full-fledged IIT in 2008. Although comparatively newer, it has already created a huge impact in terms of placements and research.
- The CSE department of IIT Patna is excellent. The course offers good placements and faculty. The course curriculum of CSE at IIT Patna follows leaders in this domain like Harvard, IISc and IIT Bombay.
- NJACK is the Computer Science Club of IIT Patna. It conducts workshops, events and competitions to boost the coding culture and knowledge of computer technology among the students. Some other clubs/societies at IIT Patna are- TINKERER’S LAB, AI-NLP-ML Group, DSC, OWASP, and many more.
- IIT Patna labs are equipped with a Data-Center which has AI-GPU clusters. There are various labs at IIT Patna such as AI+ML+NLP Lab, Blockchain Lab, IoT Lab, Network Security Lab, Advanced Computing Lab, and Metaverse.
