Even though IIT Patna is one of the nation's top universities, its M.Sc. cost structure is quite affordable. The university charged ordinary students INR 54,300 for about the same, while reserved students had to pay INR 34,500. I applied for the Physics specialty, but the price structure for the other M.Sc. and the content which was involved was top class.

The institute charged INR 54,300 from general students while the reserved students had to pay INR 34,500 for the same. MSc Chemistry at IIT Patna

Fees and Financial Aid:

Yes, various company visits here for MSc Chemistry and according to the official data the avg. Salary for MSc Chemistry in the year 2020-21 is 7Lacs/annum. As a matter of scholarship Iam slight unaware of that. But the cost for MSc is quite affordable if studied via offline mode for 2 years it will cost nearly 1.2 lacs for 2 years for MSc courses.

Is it better to study the CSE branch at 2nd generation IIT like Patna, Bhubaneswar, or prefer mechanical engineering at Roorkee, Guwahati, or Kharagpur?

According to me, opting for CSE at 2nd generation IITs like IIT Patna is a better option. IIT Patna was established as a full-fledged IIT in 2008. Although comparatively newer, it has already created a huge impact in terms of placements and research.

The CSE department of IIT Patna is excellent. The course offers good placements and faculty. The course curriculum of CSE at IIT Patna follows leaders in this domain like Harvard, IISc and IIT Bombay.
NJACK is the Computer Science Club of IIT Patna. It conducts workshops, events and competitions to boost the coding culture and knowledge of computer technology among the students. Some other clubs/societies at IIT Patna are- TINKERER’S LAB, AI-NLP-ML Group, DSC, OWASP, and many more.
IIT Patna labs are equipped with a Data-Center which has AI-GPU clusters. There are various labs at IIT Patna such as AI+ML+NLP Lab, Blockchain Lab, IoT Lab, Network Security Lab, Advanced Computing Lab, and Metaverse.
