IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In my batch, out of 64 MTech students only 42 got placed in which I was the one. The highest CTC offered was 59 LPA to only 3 students. My college has a dedicated training and placement cell, which focus to train students for best during placement interviews. The top visiting companies are Google, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Flipkart, Amazon India, Infotech etc.

There was a hype created weeks before the placement week among students. Hustle-bustle, students preparing for the jobs in the libraries was a common sight. In my batch, Aurus Networks, Google, Amazon India, Indian Navy, Tricon Infotech, Microsoft, IDC, Indian Navy, Morgan Stanley (Mumbai), Arista Networks, Amazon( Hyderabad), Flipkart among the others visited the campus. Highest CTC was Rs. 50.76 LPA. I also participated in this week and got placed in a decent company.

The college's placement rate is unquestionably among the highest in the industry. I chose IIT Patna for a variety of reasons, including the college's placement record. The college achieves a placement rate of 100%. The highest placement offer was 55 LPA, and the average placement offer at the college is roughly 15 LPA, which is a great return on investment. We have the possibility to work for Microsoft, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Sony, Adobe, and many more organizations as a result of the college placement push.

The placement of the college is without a doubt one of the best in the industry. Placement of the college also was one of the reasons I choose IIT Patna. The college manages to reach a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer was 58 LPA and the college's average placement offer is around 18 LPA which is a very good return on investment. Through the college placement drive, we get an opportunity to be part of companies such as Microsoft, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Oracle, Sony, Adobe and many more.

To be honest, I was surprised to see such amazing placement packages from IIT Patna; it well exceeded my expectations; the best package for our batch was 40 LPA, with the average package being around 20 LPA. To be honest, IIT Patna offers the finest return on investment; it is worthwhile to be a part of IIT Patna. During the college's placement drive, companies such as BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, and Wipro visited the campus. The college placement drive attracts about 11 companies.

The college provides good placement and has a record of 100% placement. The college placement was also one of my reason to join IIT Patna. The college placement committee is helpful and members of the committee have industrial exposure so the helps us and guides us during the placement process. The highest package for our batch was around 45 LPA and the average package was around 21 LPA. I also received the package of 23 LPA. Few of my batchmates received the pre-placement offers. Companies like AG Measurematics, Bajaj Auto Ltd, DRDO, BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Wipro, etc participated in the college placement drive.

Honestly speaking I did not expect such good placement packages from IIT Patna means I was expecting the highest package around 15 to 17 LPA but it exceeded beyond my expectation the highest package for our batch was 45 LPA and the average package was around 21 LPA. Frankly speaking, IIT Patna provides the best return on investment it is worth being part of IIT Patna. Companies like AG Measurematics, Bajaj Auto Ltd, DRDO, BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Wipro visited the campus during the placement drive of the college. Around 11+ companies participate in the college placement drive.

Placement is like just another formality for IIT as IIT Patna provides one of the best placements with the highest overseas packages. Industry leaders like Microsoft, Google, Amazon. Goldman Sachs, ITC, Reliance are regular recruiters of IIT Patna. The highest overseas package went up to 60 LPA for our batch and the lowest was 26 LPA.

College is just 10 years old, so much of scope for improvement in infrastructure and minds of the beaurocracy as well as teaching and non-teaching staff.
