IIT Patna is a new addition to the IIT family. We are all aware of the importance of IIT in education. Because I intended to attend an IIT college, I concentrated heavily on my GATE exam preparation, and my GATE score ranged from 620 to 700. According to my preferences, IIT Patna was ideal. To be considered for admission to IIT Patna, candidates must pass the GATE exam with a minimum of 60 percent at the bachelor's degree level, followed by a PI round on campus. During the admissions procedure, the GATE exam is worth 70% of the points, while the PI round is worth 30%. If you have any relevant work experience in your industry, please mention it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college's curriculum adheres to the most recent industry standards. The program's curriculum is divided into four semesters, with the first two semesters focusing on the fundamental concepts and importance of AI, software testing, distributed systems, introduction to network science, and other topics, and the final two semesters focusing on wireless networks, computer and network security, and other topics. The curriculum is meant to help students comprehend the importance of technology and computer systems in today's industry, as well as the role of technology in industry development. The college's faculty is excellent and well-versed in their fields. The college places a premium on faculty quality, with the majority of professors holding a Ph.D. and having extensive research experience. Many international periodicals have published some of the faculty's research papers. The student-to-faculty ratio is roughly 1:10, allowing for healthy student-teacher interaction.
Placement Experience
To be honest, I was surprised to see such amazing placement packages from IIT Patna; it well exceeded my expectations; the best package for our batch was 40 LPA, with the average package being around 20 LPA. To be honest, IIT Patna offers the finest return on investment; it is worthwhile to be a part of IIT Patna. During the college's placement drive, companies such as BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, and Wipro visited the campus. The college placement drive attracts about 11 companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for IIT Patna is pretty affordable. I paid the whole fees in one go. The curriculum as a whole costed around 87,200. Scholarships for merit candidates as well as reserved students are available at the college. Scholarship schemes such as Merit-based Scholarships, Central Sector Scholarship Schemes, and Prime Minister Scholarship Schemes are provided to ensure that students from all walks of life have access to high-quality education.
Campus Life
Quiz completion, conclave, guest professor lectures, and sporting events are all organised by the college. The college library has a large collection of books from all over the world by a variety of authors. The college's labs are equipped with a wide range of sophisticated technology that is extremely useful for research and project work.
