NIT Patna Review

NIT Patna is popularly known for its engineering programs and faculty. The college placement record is also very good. I was also searching for a college with a good placement record as my priority was to be placed in a good MNC. The candidate must clear the GATE exam and the candidate must secure 65% (60% for reserve category) marks in graduation. The admission process of NIT Patna is done online. The candidate must feel the application form and after getting shortlisted on the basis of the GATE score the candidate must appear for CCMT counselling.

The curriculum of the college is for international standards and we all know that NIT Patna is quite popular for its courses. The curriculum is divided into 4 semesters. the curriculum is designed to generate new knowledge by engaging students in cutting edge theoretical and research knowledge and to promote academic growth by offering best in class faculty and curriculum.

The internship program is part of the curriculum and students are free to opt for in campus or off-campus internship programs according to their needs and requirement. The college placement committee helps the students during the internship program. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Samsung India, etc visited the campus during the internship program. The stipend ranges from Rs. 15000/- to Rs. 80000/- according to the tenure of the internship. Most of the time the students receive the pre-placement offers.

The college has a record of 100% placement. the placement record was one of the main reasons that I choose to be part of NIT Patna. The college placement committee is very professional and very supportive for students. The committee guides the students during the placement. The highest package for our batch went up to 15 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Companies like HDFC Bank, Bharat Petroleum, Microsoft, Samsung, SAP Labs, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, L&T, etc visited the campus during the college placement drive. I also received a package of 12 LPA from Wipro which was a dream come true and all thanks to NIT Patna.

The college also provides scholarships to merit students. The college also has a Scholarship Stipend program for SC/ST /OBC. You can also avail education loan facility and the admission department will guide you for the education loan facility. The college life of NIT Patna is very enjoyable and fun. The college also organises fests like corona-techno fest and Melange-cultural fest is a 7-day fest in the college which is the main attraction point for every student on the campus. The library is equipped with all kinds of books around the world and with all kinds of journals. The classrooms are big and the classrooms are equipped with a projector screen, recording system, speakers and all the necessary modern equipment that can contribute to the good learning process. The college also organizes sports events in which students from different departments take part.

The hostel is properly maintained and very hygienic. The common room is equipped with daily newspapers and an LCD TV. The students don't have to worry about security. The mess food quality is good and tasty. The warden of the hostel is very professional and cooperative. The hostel has a separate 24x7 WiFi connection. The rooms are cleaned 4 times a week. All the basic facilities are available for students.

The faculty of the college is very professional and of PhD level. The faculty are masters of their subject and they know how to teach students. They are ready for new experiments. The faculty motivates students to focus on research work so that students can understand the theoretical concepts.
