Remarks

IIT Patna is one of India's best engineering colleges, with exceptionally excellent faculty standards. The college has excellent placement standards, which is one of the reasons I chose IIT Patna. I was chosen based on my academic and GATE scores, and I participated in a GD and PI round on the university campus. I was able to pass these rounds as well and got accepted into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My passion for coding led me to pursue a B.Tech programme with a CSE background, and the college's curriculum was both engaging and demanding. The programme focuses mostly on coding, and IIT Patna's coding staff and culture are excellent. The college's faculty is well-educated and experienced. The professors are quite competent in their fields, particularly in coding. The college's instructors are all PhDs who assist us learn each issue in a very plain and straightforward manner.

The college's placement rate is unquestionably among the highest in the industry. I chose IIT Patna for a variety of reasons, including the college's placement record. The college achieves a placement rate of 100%. The highest placement offer was 55 LPA, and the average placement offer at the college is roughly 15 LPA, which is a great return on investment. We have the possibility to work for Microsoft, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Sony, Adobe, and many more organizations as a result of the college placement push.

The college experience is fantastic. We have a lot of chances to do research and work on projects. The college library has a wide variety of best-selling authors' works from all over the world, as well as numerous publications relating to our domain. The college's cultural festival is CELESTA, and the campus also hosts INFINITO, a technical festival where we may demonstrate our code and innovative abilities. The college labs are top-of-the-line, with all of the latest technology.

Placement Experience:

3rd semester student in case of pget and 7th semester student in case of get are eligible to college placement. Some 3rd year student also got internship. Life At IIT Patna

Placement Experience:

In my batch, out of 64 MTech students only 42 got placed in which I was the one. The highest CTC offered was 59 LPA to only 3 students. My college has a dedicated training and placement cell, which focus to train students for best during placement interviews. The top visiting companies are Google, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Flipkart, Amazon India, Infotech etc.

My experience of M.Tech

Placement Experience:

There was a hype created weeks before the placement week among students. Hustle-bustle, students preparing for the jobs in the libraries was a common sight. In my batch, Aurus Networks, Google, Amazon India, Indian Navy, Tricon Infotech, Microsoft, IDC, Indian Navy, Morgan Stanley (Mumbai), Arista Networks, Amazon( Hyderabad), Flipkart among the others visited the campus. Highest CTC was Rs. 50.76 LPA. I also participated in this week and got placed in a decent company.

To be honest, I was surprised to see such amazing placement packages from IIT Patna; it well exceeded my expectations; the best package for our batch was 40 LPA, with the average package being around 20 LPA. To be honest, IIT Patna offers the finest return on investment; it is worthwhile to be a part of IIT Patna. During the college's placement drive, companies such as BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, and Wipro visited the campus. The college placement drive attracts about 11 companies.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement and has a record of 100% placement. The college placement was also one of my reason to join IIT Patna. The college placement committee is helpful and members of the committee have industrial exposure so the helps us and guides us during the placement process. The highest package for our batch was around 45 LPA and the average package was around 21 LPA. I also received the package of 23 LPA. Few of my batchmates received the pre-placement offers. Companies like AG Measurematics, Bajaj Auto Ltd, DRDO, BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Wipro, etc participated in the college placement drive.

The college has a record of 100% placement. the placement record was one of the main reasons that I choose to be part of NIT Patna. The college placement committee is very professional and very supportive for students. The committee guides the students during the placement. The highest package for our batch went up to 15 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Companies like HDFC Bank, Bharat Petroleum, Microsoft, Samsung, SAP Labs, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, L&T, etc visited the campus during the college placement drive. I also received a package of 12 LPA from Wipro which was a dream come true and all thanks to NIT Patna.

As my marks are good in JEE advance I go for IITs over other NITs. Only one name is enough for IITs why I choose them over another college. I only apply for josaa counseling and get this college. You can also say I get rejection for older IITs. The admission process is quite simple just write the JEE mains exams which are held in jan and April after clearing the cutoff write the JEE Advance exam if you score well in JEE Advance you get a seat in IIT Patna. around 93 percentile is needed to clear cutoff for jee mains and needed 13000 rank in advance for IIT Patna...Read More

A Comprehensive Insight into IIT PATNA

I applied to several other engineering colleges across India like : IIT Delhi - Biotechnology IIT Indore - Mechanical IIT BHU- Mechanical As my rank in JEE ADVANCED was not sufficient to get into these colleges Colleges I was getting Some IITs (IIT Indore,IIT DHANBAD) I was getting civil branch.. and in NITs like NIT Patna, Goa etc. I was getting CSE. But I have chosen IIT PATNA Mechanical Engineering branch .. The first reason was obviously the IIT branch which has a significant impact on placement, carreer, exposure,etc. IIT PATNA despite being newer compared to older IITs, has been quickly advancing in terms of faculty, facilities, reasearch infrastructure. The admission process is as follows: First of all you have to clear the Joint Entrance Exam (MAINS+ ADVANCED). Then, we have to participate in the JOSSA counselling and select the colleges according to your preference. Then after getting alloted a college you have to pay Seat Allocation fees. Review of IIT Patna

This College was established in 2008. Since then it has developed as per expectations. Actually, IIT Patna is situated near the Capital of state Bihar. Bihar is one of the most underdeveloped states of India. So the college has a negative impact of this on its growth. Otherwise, this college has a very good potential and very talented students in it. Depsite of negative factor of location it has developed better than other IITs established with it in 2008.
