About MACET
Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology - [MACET] was established by Millat Education Society and located in city Patna state of Bihar. The college is the oldest private engineering college of Bihar. The college is a degree level technical college, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. The college campus is around 18.45 acres and historic buildings presenting a spectacle of architectural and natural beauty.
The placement cell helps to the students in their project work and provides them a platform for interaction with the corporate world. The college is 20km from Patna junction railway station and 16 km from Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport, Patna. The library is well equipped with text books, technical journals, periodicals, and reference material for advanced research and development work. The college encourages students to engage themselves in various co-curricular activities beside their academic programme.

Eligibility 12th appearing and passed, application fee is 500rs and application dates in month of may. No reservation is there. They take their own entrance exam and according to your rank and preference branch you are allotted the same.

- I like the placement cell, teachers and staffs of this college.
- Our director sir is also a great personality. He is also very supporrive like others.

- College is very far away from the patna city.
Admission:
First of all, you have to take the admission application form from the college and you have to fill and submit that form to the college then they will call you for the entrance test and then it will get decided whether you are eligible for this coarse or not .there is no reservation benefits for anybody.

In order to take admitted to this college, you have to complete your ISC. There is an entrance test in which one has to score 70% to get admission. Anyone can find application fees etc on the college website macet.net.in.

If you talk about the reviews then there good and bad things about every place and this college also has same. The positive things are outstanding physics faculty, availability of books in library, support of few faculties and talking about negative things then this college has many. Average academics, poor playground, poor placements, bad interaction with seniors.

Positive is for civil they have best lab survey and faculty.. They live life there..but no placement i repeat no placement. Shows a sincere interest in employees and the solutions to their problems. Unfortunately no placement

I am okay with the overall package that the institute has imparted on me. And making me who I am present. So I don't regret my decision of taking admission. A Muslim minority engineering college which is having a great legacy and Alumni base both nationally and internationally

Faculty is better than thousand of colleges in India but management or core team have no time to handle this prestigious college which is running for almost more than 30 years.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course duration was of 4 years with lab and theoretical studies. Theoretical studies were getting tougher with the further advancement of course and year. Lab work was bit easier but it took real hard time to get in as 5 hrs theory and one practical class is hard thing to carry on.
Admission:
College management are very helpful, they give us a very high quality education and maintain the standard. They always take reviews from the students regarding their experiences.

To get admission, you need to appear for BCECE exam and the date for the same has already been over by July 10th 2023.
To get B.tech admission, you need to appear for BCECE test followed by counselling to get admission.
The admissions are over for the 2023 session. No, new admission dates have been released.
