About Magadh University
Magadh University is a state-public university located in Bodh Gaya, Bihar. The university is approved by the UGC and accredited with a "C" grade by the NAAC. It is the largest university in Bihar with a campus sprawling over 460-acres, which comprises 24 PG departments and 44 constituent colleges. Besides that, there are 175 Magadh University affiliated colleges. At present, Magadh University is offering UG, PG, Doctoral, Diploma, and vocational degree courses in various fields. Recognized by the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Magadh University is also offering distance education through its affiliated colleges.
Magadh University admission to the UG courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. A friend of my father was somehow familiar to college faculties so I didn't have any trouble in getting admission in this college? First I appeared in entrance exam then my father's friend named Late Chandrabhushan Mishra took me along with him to college and did rest ofthe procedures. Honestly I would advice to take admission in Govt colleges or any other private colleges like NSIT, Bihta instead of RPSIT. As I have already mentioned that the mid sems are just formality. In case of semester exams the paper is of 70 marks in which students have to bring 28 to pass and 30 marks is up to college.

- This is very popular college of gaya, bihar. The college has a good reputation. I always wanted to pursue my studies in the commerce field so I chose B.Com, and this college seemed like a good opportunity. The course fees are affordable.
- Semester exams in our course are not very difficult if someone has been continuous in his semester studies, so they can easily pass the semester with good grades. The library is good and offers a quiet space for students to study.
Dislikes
- There is no provision of the hostel in the school of open learning, as students don't visit the college on a regular basis. The class size is large. The academic plans could be better.
- Infrastructure is not so good as the college is very old, But one new building is better with a large playing ground

Magadh University is expected to start its admissions for B.Ed and B.P.Ed programs soon. For B.Ed, the admission process is based on the Bihar B.Ed CET 2024 entrance exam, which took place earlier this year.
