IIT Patna M.Tech Admission 2026 Begins; Apply by April 20 @iitp.ac.in

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna has invited applications for its Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs for the Autumn 2026-27 session. Prospective candidates looking to advance their technical expertise can now apply for various specializations across several engineering and science departments.

The application fee is ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS males and ₹500 for all females and SC/ST/PwD male candidates.

For Regular & Full-time admission, candidates need a minimum of 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) for General/OBC/EWS and 55% marks (6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST in their qualifying degree, along with a valid GATE score. However, IIT graduates with a CPI of 8.0 or above are exempt from the GATE requirement.

IIT Patna M.Tech selection is based on GATE scores for regular seats, while other categories are evaluated through tests or interviews.
