The sports facilities amazing we have three rounds for
The gym and the outer activities were amazing we have NSS in our college would lead to and they lead to social affair
There are various types of class in our college which enhance the skills of the students

Dislikes

College is in a remote area it's like 40 km away from Siliguri
The weather is too Harsh in the winter. And in winter there is very much for in our area
The exams are quite hard so students have to study really hard so that they can pass

Placement Experience:

The students can be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and then on they can able to apply on companies the in the last year we have 98% placement and the average package was 8 lakhs per year and the highest package was 63.5 lakhs per year

Coding culture of Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College
Faculty members. Some members are really very good
Environment of this place where this college is situated

Dislikes

Infrastructure is poor. Because it is so old college because it is established in 1961
No boundaries in college campus . Private car also passes.
Library problem - there is no enough space to group study.

College placement is very good. 100% placement last year. Non core and core all department are good for placement. Good College for engineering students.Awesome faculty members of every department of engineering and all professor has renownable degree form top universities. Placements are also too good for both core and non core branches. Highest package is nearly 65 lpa

JGEC campus Life and career

Likes

Campus is Lush green and there are several grounds to play sports like cricket, basketball, vollyball.
Classes are conducted regularly and exams are taken on time.
College organises different events for students career development.

Placement Experience:

Our placements is good. Companies like TCS, Media.net, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant frequently visits our college for in campus drive. Many students prepare for Off campus placement and many has cracked placement and internship in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and big multi-national companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have an interest on electronic circuit and communication so I choose this ECE course. Faculty and student ratio is 1:10. Faculties are well qullified and many of them have Ph.D degree from most prominent colleges. Thier teaching style is good.

All in one about JGEC

Likes

Campus area is very good it’s about 118 acres
Faculties are very helpful here … quality of content given here is good
Seniors are helpful here if u have any doubts about anything related to studies or life seniors will give good suggestions here

Dislikes

Hostels are not maintained properly but now it is renovating so i hope it will be good in future
Maximum area of the colleges is not used
Condition of the building is not so good

Placement Experience:

Placement are good here about 96% of the students got placed last year.. internship are good to here in this year only 2 students from our college got interned at microsoft and amazon.. so avg package here is 8LPA nd highest package is 60 LPA

The campus area is very high like 170 acres
3 fullfilled grounds for sports facility and gym
Various types of clubs to enhance the skills of the students

Dislikes

Colleges in remote area it's 40k from Siliguri
The fees are a little to be extra exactly 18000 per year
The semester exams are quite hard students have to study really

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semester to get campus placements there is various companies with digit our college like Amazon cognizant Microsoft TCS etc almost 98% students are getting placement over the years personally I would like to join a job after completing my daily course

The most likely think in our collage is the campus and the natural beauty.
The teacher of our collage are very good.
The cricket club of our campus with full instrument.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of our collage is very old.
The situation of on campus placement in this year is very low

Placement Experience:

Probably after 6 th semistar a student can apply for campus placement.By the way our oncampus placement is also good.Amazon, wipro and all other core company like voltus also visited here.I want to do M.tech after this degree.

College campus are very fresh air and clean
College faculty are very good and intelligent teachers
College gave good average and highest placement

Dislikes

Girls and boys ratio are very poor in the college
Classroom need to be improved in the college
Campus life is good as well as boring because remote locations..

Likes

I like the college campus.it is so simple.
I like the facilities because they teach well.
I like education system parallel the cultural system

Dislikes

I think some building need renovation in old campus.
I think college authority should increase book in Library in some subjects
The surroundings are eco-friendly but should improve.

Placement Experience:

From six semester average the students are eligible for campus placement according to their skills.Tcs, Cognizant, Capgemini and many other well known companies come.highest package is 13 lakh and average is 5 lakh.Half of the students easily placed every year.My plan to do job in corporate sector after completing this course.

My Dream College AOT

Likes

The infrastucture is very good and every departments students have their own buildings.
The library is very large and almost 56000 books are available for students. Those books are very much useful for every departments students.
The teaching learning process is very comfortable and enough for better understanding.

Dislikes

The placement campusing should be more mantained.

Placement Experience:

College provides placement oppertunity from the 7 semester and most of the students get selection. Tata, Wipro, Kpit and more company visit our college with high packages. Here average package is all about 3.5 LPA and highest package is near about 6 LPA in those previous 3 years. All about 90% students get placement in first or second attempt. I have planned to get a good job in my future in a reputated company.
