Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to a 4-year full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement
Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination of W.B.Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized Board or University conforming norms stipulated by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.
Entrance Exam
Candidates will be admitted on the basis of a merit position in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State (WBJEE) and All India Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).

Likes
- The faculty members are quite friendly and we can access them anytime. We can also call them after college
- Every faculty provide a lecture plan which pretty much sum up the syllabus and the modules
Dislikes
- Although the laboratory have sufficient equipment but they need to get rid of the broken ones.
- The classrooms are synchronized and small to accommodate 70 students all at once
Fees and Financial Aid:
In the first semester we had to give 72000 which includes admission fee and tution fee , and in the second semester we had to give the required fee which was 42000 at that time. In every even semester extra 12000/- are collected for skill development , which sumed upto 53000/- around. If a student is from lateral entry , the course fee will be less as the lateral entry starts from second year. Pros : The fee submission system is totally handled by the authority and the system is very easy to follow. One can submit the fee using a DD or demand draft which is convinient Cons : The semester fee are taken prior to the semester , i.e. , the next odd semester fee will be collected in the current even semester and vice versa.

- In my college my first love is lovely green college campus.
- Our senior make our day so much easier .
Dislikes
- Outside college premises it's different remote world.
- College is under makaut university it's very annoying.
Fees and Financial Aid:
When we came here to take admission they gave us a fee structure but after one semester they increase the fees upto 10000 per sem. So, at first in four years it was taking approx 400000 but now it increases to 500000.
Likes
- A beautiful and big classroom, placement is provided
- A big auditorium is there which is beautiful and the area of the college is beautiful with greeney all through your vision and aslo the campus
Dislikes
- Fees are charged which can not be justified.they take training fees every odd semester but don't provide anything special
- Teachers and faculty are not upto the mark they pick the optional elective subject on their own and as per their capabilities.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fee once you join the total value of the course remains constant as promised by college . 3 lakhs 80 thousand and some 2700 for a useless insurance. College don't provide any scholarship but in MAKAUT there is a TFW quita fulfilling which you dont have to bear the semester fees and also there is a scholarship SVMCM which gives you financial aid to study but criteria is your annual income must be less than 2.5lpa and marks above 65 percent
Likes
- The campus is very beautiful. There is a lot of space and a large pond too, which allows cool breeze to flow all year round.
- The faculty is very disciplined. They always arrive the classes on time.
Dislikes
- The attendance criteria is really strict and mostly bans from examination if attendance drops below 75%
- Restrooms are not cleaned properly in all the buildings.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fees is around 50000 per Semester. Every alternate Semester an amount of 10000 to 12000 is taken for skill development fees. You are provided with health insurance. You can get placements and internships, on and off campus, both.

- I like the college infrastructure. The well maintaining campus
- I like the college placements. My college give average placement
Dislikes
- I don't like the attendance sceme. It is affecting out self studies
- I don't like the library. It should always open every time

The fee structure is enough for BTech. But for 2 years the campus placement is below average. They should maintain the campus placement. They should provide internships as well for a better future

- Good atmosphere and good campus canteen and good food services
- Education level is very high all teachers are well experienced
Dislikes
- Minimum 75% attendance criteria and the strict rules
- Assignment are regularly given and it's hamper the studies little bit
Fees and Financial Aid:
For the first year odd sem tution fees is 41000 and even sem 42000 and it increases by one thousand per year and also a special skills development fees charged in 2nd ,4th and 6th semester worth 10000 with the semester fees. College didn't provide any scholarship students are having Swami Vivekanand scholarship by West Bengal state government and a student loan available there which is also by state government of west Bengal.

- The railway station is very near to the College
Dislikes
- There are too many rules inside the College campus.
Fees and Financial Aid:
It is about 50000 rupees in each semister which is 4 lakh in total. But this was 40k to 43k before the lockdown time. College approve the svmcm and forward to higher authority, also have the loan facility.

- Infrastructure is also good, every classroom is seperate and some are digital classroom also.
- Campus life is also good, there are many sports activities is available in the campus.
Dislikes
- You have to maintain 75% attendance during semester otherwise you are not allowed to sit in the exam.
- Enviroment outside the college in not far better.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fee structure is 68500 at the time of admission, after that 50000/semester. complete cost of education is approx 5 to 6 lacs. There is a extra skill development charges taken by the college which is 12000 on every even semester. if you are in your last year college provide you an internship based on the your performance in the semester exam and your project.

- The campus area is very peaceful and chilling.
- The library area is good and there is available so many books which you can read freely.
Dislikes
- The faculty teaching method is not good .
- The college practical equipments are not good.
Fees and Financial Aid:
College admission cell is providing you the fees structure at the time of admission. The fees structure is not changed within a year . The fees study is applicable for whole the course. The complete cost is 4 lacks and there is some extra charges like foods and living. The other compulsory charges is near about 4 lacks . Total it's 8 lacks. The scholarship is available for the west bengal board students only , the scholarship name is swami vivekananda merit cum scholarship and the amount is 60k per year.

- The campus life at AOT is pretty good with events and fests happening year round.
- The on-campus sports facilities offered by the college is pretty decent.
Dislikes
- The lack of financial assistance can hinder the ability to pay the fees for students with not so good financial background.
- The placements have not been good and students generally have to rely on off-campus placements for better offers.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The total tuition fees for the 4years is around ~5.1lacs. Scholarships such as SVMCM is available for students within the state, but for students from other state, it may be challengingh to look for financial assisstance, or scholarships. Apart from this the hostel fees is around 2.5lacs. And there are no opportunities for on campus employment.
