- NO RAGGING inside the college campus (no intro).
- Every alternate year Tech fest or Arcadia are conducted.
Dislikes
- Strictly required 75% attendance for each semester.
- I think fees should be less although this is a private college.
- Placement is decent with average package of 3.6 lpa.
Course Curriculum Overview
I admitted in the Electronics and Communcation Engineering as it have both hardware and software opportunity in future. The curriculum is not easy it is difficult. The semester exam pattern i would like to improve because university paper question is chapter specific not all chapter. The semester exam should conduct after 6 months but it is generally not happen around 4 - 6 months a semester is conducted. So the exam time is less for some semester and some is decent around 5 months . The exam timing sometimes goes to dificult condition as frequent semester exam conducted in a year.
Placement Experience
The fourth year student (7th semester) eligible for campus placement. For internship also starts from 7th semester in off campus. Most companies are startup or service based company comes in the on campus placement. Highest package offer in 2022 is 45lpa from Amazon.2023 highest offer is 7lpa and 2024 is 9lpa from TCS . Around 193% students got placed in 2022.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year student pay fees of 94000 ruppes per year. Every semester fees of 42000 rupees(tuition fee), so in a year 2x42000=84000 and 10000 is the skill development fees per year. Tuition fee - 42000 rupees caution fee - 5000 rupees development fee - 10000 rupees This is same for all categories of student i.e. General, OBC etc. unless they get Tuition Fee Waiver quota which exclude tuition fees. Also the semester fees varies for every year students like if a student admitted in 2023 and another in 2024 then their semester fees may vary. Also, Swami Vivekananda scholarship available for every student who got 75% marks and above. The scholarship amount is 60000 rupees. Aikyashree scholarship also available.
Campus Life
Annual festivels are conducted in alternate year in around november month. Almost all books required in the semester exam found in library. Student sports and extracurricular activites offered well in the campus .
Admission
I choose this college for good faculty member and decent course fee. As this college provides TFW quota the semester (Tuition fee) is totally free. This college accept both WBJEE and JEE Main students. Most of the student admitted via WBJEE exam . Overall the admission is easy , requiring some documents .
Faculty
The faculty of this college is good. For Electronics and Communication Engineering department the faculty member is friendly, helpful. For Computer Science department and other department the faculty member are also good , friendly and helpful. Two semester exam conducted yearly. In a semester there is 4 continuous assesments with marks 25 and 5 for attendance, performance and 70 is the theroy exam . Also the practical exam is conducted in 40 + 60 format where 40 is the practical continuous assesments and 60 is the practical exam at the end of the semester. The exam is not very difficult like moderate, anyone can pass in the exam if they study little more.
Night Life
Canteen facility is there in the college for all students and stuffs. Public area, shop are in there . Hostel timing is around the college off time means when the college is closed. Big ground for play like cricket, football, volley ball etc.
