Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering course. The course is the most demanded and the most popular course among the youth. The future opportunity is too high for the students in this course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the students of 2022 batch was 42000 om an average for each semester and from 2023 batch, according to university rules, the college asks the students to pay semester fees of 50000 and for hostel students it can increase by 15000 per semester.

Campus Life

Besides the college's academics, the college is also known for the cultural events. The most renowned Annual Fest named Arcadia is celebrated here once in a year. Besides that also there is a Techfiesta held in the college once every year.

Admission

The college was renowned for its placements repeatedly for the past few years. The fees for the college was too low for a B Tech student comparing other instituitions. The placement report was more than 100%. The college's campus life is also very good.

Faculty

The faculty is very helpful and friendly to the students. The faculties are majorly from IIM and IITs. The college also supports the faculty to spend more time on the students by giving more vision to the studnet's growth.

Night Life

There i s a gym that is open for every student in the college. The students required to enroll and join the gymnasium. There is a cafetaria in the college too. The cafetaria remains open for all during the college time.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More

Academy of technology Reality check

I got this this from WBJEE , i wrote this exam and I score rank under 12 k in which our college has cutoff of 20k. I applied for the councelling of WBJEE and got selected in first round . I choosen this college for their campus life here was very beautiful campus. Additional Questions - 1.I applied to Netaji Subhash Engineering college and got a confirmed admission from the college but I don't admitted to this college our college and NSEC college gave almost same package but our college campusing is much much better than NSEC college and also the fees is less compared to NSEC college. 2.No, I don't get any rejection from any other colleges. 3.I admitted in this college via WBJEE councelling and cutoff of CSE department was 20k approx and I got 18k approx rank in the examination out of 1.5 lakh students....Read More
