My College

Likes

Infrastructure of the college. Classrooms are big and spacious, many benches are available, projectors, blackboard etc.
Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are very knowledgeable
Labs are also big and spacious all computers working correctly.

Dislikes

Canteen is available but it is closed all the time
Gym is also available but it is also close
Hostel food is not good at all! Very oily!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers teaching method is very impactful and easy to understand the lesson. Syllabus completed before 1 month of semester exam. As the teachers were very punctual and maintained the system.exam timings are also perfect.

Likes

Teacher come class on time, time is maintaining
There is a big campus and infrastructure
Placement is also good, every years there's a lot of company visit the college

Dislikes

Fees structure of hit college are too high..

I would rate the course curriculum 10 on 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. I wanted to opt of this course that made me to choose the same. The course fees is too high. Otherwise it is nice.

An average college with average placements

Likes

College provides facilities like mock interviews which are very helpful for placements.
College's teaching faculties is nice. They are well educated and knows how to teach
College is lenient and transparent and allows students to explore other fields.

Dislikes

College has a very poor infrastructure. There is no ground in the college
There is no as such campus life as it's a small college.
The quality of social interaction is not good as there is a language barrier and Bengali dominated.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements. The companies visited like TCS , CTS ,Wipro , HCL , Accenture etc. 300 offers were made this year. This year the highest package was 15 LPA and average package was 4.5 LPA. This year 70 percent students got placed. My plan after degree is to apply for job.

AOT'S Review

Likes

Infrastructure: The college has a centralized air-conditioned auditorium, engineering laboratories, 50 to 60 classrooms, and a central library with digital resources
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and experienced
Hostel: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available within the campus, with basic amenities and mess facilities

Dislikes

Placement: AOT placement is not quite well

Placement Experience:

AOT provide good job opportunities... it has an active placement cell, with top recruiters like Amazon, IBM, Accenture, and Capgemini. The highest salary package offered was 8.00 LPA, with an average package of 3.65 LPA

Likes

Location is very good near to main road vip road near to airport
Teachers faculties are generally good decent supportive
Placement cell is good it provides good decent placement

Dislikes

It hasn't any campus it's too small between 3buildings
Some of the faculty are resist for the non Bengali speaking people they always speak in bengali
Canteen and all are not so good that people enjoy as much

Course Curriculum Overview:

The branch i choose is trending and market required and curriculum is almost on that so it good decent have have some fault like exssive of theory paper and theory knowledge less prepared for real life problems. I would like to suggest reduce some unnecessary theory thing and put some market based things practical thing that help in real life . Frequency of exams is good not so fast and not so slow it is decent .

Likes

It has a very big campus. Although HITk consist of 3 building
The faculty teaches very well. They are very supporting like they can help you in clearing all the doubts.
It's an autonomous college. So semester exam happens in the college campus only. Also it will release it's results within a specific time without any delay

Dislikes

The way it is increasing its fees. It has increased its fees from 4lakhs to 6 lakhs and also for the second year students also without a prior notice
Some classrooms are very compact. Like we didn't get enough air conditioning in it that creates a huge problem in summers.
The campus area is very good but they are not well developed. Although half of the area belongs to the heritage school only.

Placement Experience:

The college offers the campus placement from the 7th semester. In the 7 th semester only the companies started coming to our college with an average package of 4-5lpa. Although there are some companies which offers around 12 lpa. Although the placement rate depends on market but still I guess atleast half of the students gets placed Many students also opt for the higher studies like Gate etc.

Below Average college with poor placement but friendly faculty members can consider only if you have no other options

Likes

Behaviour of Faculties, Principal and higher management and seniors
Extra Classes for English, Communication Skills and Programming apart from University syllabus
Mentor assigned to every students to solve their problems

Dislikes

Very Beautiful but very small college campus
Issues regarding mobile network due to location and Jammer which is used during examinations conducted in TCSion Center present in campus

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students becomes eligible for placement. Many small IT and core companies do come to hire but considering batch strength the percentage is on quiet lower side also average package is lower than 3lpa and most students who got more than that had been placed off campus. Placements are very bad in this college.

JIS College Of Engineering : A Total Comprehensive Review

Likes

As a engineering college, environment makes students enthusiastic for tech stuffs. In this college many there has nice coding culture, along with supportive environment in open innovations and various TECH FESTS take place every year which motivates.
Along with the Green-Life, ragging free campus, there has many sport activities like indoor(badminton, table-tennis, chess, carrom, billiards ) or outdoor games(cricket, football).
Supportiveness and helpfulness of every faculty, they teach every students in quite innovative ways. Mentors are being assigned to every students for any kind of support they need, they can reach out to the faculty mentor for every problems.

Dislikes

In my personal opinion, college canteen should to be more cleaned.
Gym for this college are needed to be opened
Needed to open cafeteria perfectly and make the common room accessible for every students for college hours

Placement Experience:

Yeah campus placements are there. But I would love to follow my passion for IITs, Subjects I am studying, I have a further plans to do M.Tech and higher studies. Previously, 22 LPA is highest package, Average package is 5.6 LPA. 70-80% of students are placed within Tech/Non-Tech companies according to their skills.

Think again and again . It's your life

Likes

Attendance. In first year 75% Attendance was compulsory if students were not coming they use to call the larents before the test . So that they come. But after 2nd and 3rd year Attendance doesn't matter if u go 15 days in 1 semester it's enough .
Linear faculty. They don't use to give much load . Most of them are very Linear exceptions are there. And some are very hardworking teachers and professors
Event called paridhi . It's fun lot of activities and games and prize pool every year .

Dislikes

Placements . They are very less and the packages are. Very low . 4-5 lakhs
No ground in the college. They don't have play ground .
Infrastructure is okay okay. Provides a lot courses not don't think there is any career advancement from this college

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered in this college many companies come but they take few students only 3,4 maximum. I'm still in starting of 4th year so can't tell everything but yeas companies are coming stude students are filling form and exams are going on for placements

NSEC- All you need to know about

This college actually give placements but only if you study well. Considering other colleges in bengal it is among the top 5 college in Bengal
There is No Ragging in NSEC , in bengal i was also scared at first that there will be ragging and it is there in other colleges as heard from my friends but in here its a good environment.
There are communities in our college that are too active and try to connect us to the placement driven mindset people. GDSC Noobuild and more

Dislikes

The campus area. Its not that we dont have ground to play but still its not adequate comparing to the no of students intake
The area around NSEC fells like colony not like a college. Yes It is connected with metro so you can travel to complete Kolkata but still its not that feasible

Placement Experience:

YEs there is placements , as our college is oldest in techno group and have already a good network we can also go to all collges of techno with our resume. Its a place where one can get what he or she deserves. And other skills are not taught on a very good level. For example there is a cell that provokes start up culture but again its not that good maybe it will grow in next few years.
