Infrastructure: The college has a centralized air-conditioned auditorium, engineering laboratories, 50 to 60 classrooms, and a central library with digital resources
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and experienced

The course curriculam are quite good.. it provide some knowledge about programming languages from 1st semester..and also provided some moral knowledge.. You will face exam at a fixed intervel of time soo we ready to face it

AOT provide good job opportunities... it has an active placement cell, with top recruiters like Amazon, IBM, Accenture, and Capgemini. The highest salary package offered was 8.00 LPA, with an average package of 3.65 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

In general the fee structure of AOT is 4.36 lakh For first semester the fee is 1.04 lakh which include library fee some computer fee and some other facilities and for rest 7 semester the fee is 52 thousand..

Campus Life

AOT conduct hackathon on the ragular basis.... And their annual festival (Arcida) is very famous... Their are many active clubs run in our colleges like music club , cricket club... In our college many seminars are conducted to improve knowledge....

Hostel Facilities

Hostel: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available within the campus, with basic amenities and mess facilities... sometime food provide by the hostal is not so good...hostal provide wifi with low speed..

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I cghose this college over other college because of its infrastructure and affordable fee structure.. And it provide good job opportunities.. its course curriculam is quite good and help to improve skills..

Faculty

The faculty members are highly educated and experienced, but the problem is in maths faculties some of them are not able to make us understand.. By the way all faculties are cooperative and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More
