FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent. All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants. The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech
I took the VIT entrance exam and got a rank of 101-1000. I had given other exams as well but computer science in VIT was always my first choice. I also was eligible for COEP but I wanted a change so I moved to it.
The good thing is that as a person wise you will be improved and as the you will come out as a very talented person and the bad thing is that if you dont care about your self you will be left out and will be in deep.
Overall a very nice university if you are here for only Study and get placed purpose. Although they are too strict sometimes with the rules the also focus less on extra curricular activities and overall development of a student apart from academic.75% attendance is very necessary here unless you want to re register the course or you are a 9 pointer. They could be a little more lenient with the way things work here in college.
The overall facility of the college is very good. It has good infrastructure very clean campus. The faculty of the college is also experienced and the placement is also very good in which more than 300 companies come to give placement. The only thing in college which is below average is its sports facility.
I took the VITEEE. My rank was 16k. I was allotted a seat in the first phase of counseling itself. I opted for this college as it is one of the best private institutions in India.
The only bad remark about VIT is that its intake has been increasing drastically and as an attempt to control such huge numbers, Strict Rules are coming into place. Apart from this Vit is really "A Pace to Learn and A Chance to Grow."
There are no entrance exams for Bachelors's degree with VIT. The admission process is based on your +2 percentage followed by an interview with the college. Your aggregate should be more than 80% for people to qualify for the interview process. VIT was the best college providing the biotechnology course in the south of India, where I could be close to my home town.
