SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

While there is a lot of academic opportunity here, there is no life beyond that. The campus is 25km away from the city and is situated on the highway. Hence, there is a lack of recreational activities here. To watch a movie, you have to travel for a minimum of 45mins to reach the nearest cinema hall. There are numerous food joints in and around the campus, but none with a proper dine-in facility. There are no party places here whatsoever.

Average package of placements is 3.5 lakhs per annum which is very less ,we almost pay 20 lakhs for our btech and we get 3-4 it isn't even satisfactory. Coming to highest placement package it is good which offers around 40 lakhs.

A exam based on the 12 th standard will be done through online named as srmjeee consists of 300 marks done through online process in different centres given and monitored by srm chennai campus. There is no negative mark in the exam

The positive of the college is that the placements is very good for some departments. The faculties are not so efficient. The hostel facilities are the worst. The security guards always try to create nuisance for the students.

The university provides both negative and positive aspect. Its just the way you perceive it and you need to concentrate in class orelse you'll end up scoring less. You can't get into fights and should stay away from angry or cunning localities.

Overall a pretty decent college to be in, you are provided with great infrastructure and also knowledgeable faculties. There are some great students from India and abroad and if you yearn to gain knowledge this place provides you ample opportunity for that.

It is a very good college if you want to enjoy learning as well as you want to have a good placement so you should choose srm it provides you an environment of study as well as different events so that one should get to explore what all is hidden in him.

Positive - Huge focus on placements. Very good infrastructure and internal structure of college. Approachable higher administration. Various on campus facilities available like free hospital, gym etc. Negative - Too much crowd.

I don't have a negative remark about my college. You will not have any worry about a thing. They have counselors for moral and emotional support. They will prepare you for placements from 1st year it self. You will be mold in such a way that you will stand different from the rest of the crowd.

The positive thing I see that environment is good. Many people in Chennai speak in English. Which helps me a lot to learn English as I come form small city. You can learn English and know about different people as students came from all parts of country.
