- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways
Dislikes
- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

- Excellent peer group with very good club and fest culture. Everything is student run, so students get several opportunities to work in event management, planning, logistics, tech, art, music, or anything that they are interested in.
- Strong alumni network across the world that holds regular meetups.
- Decent lab facility and 100% placement record across all departments.
Dislikes
- Extremely sexist and rigid administration
- Poor facilities in the hostel and departments
- Hostel administration, especially for girls, is hostile and unapproachable. Sexist curfew rules only for girls.
Placement Experience:
Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, SAP Labs, AMD, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Citi, Visa, Warner Bros, Amazon, Rubrik, Meesho, P&G, ITC, etc visit.
Nearly 100% placement across all departments.
For CSE, highest package was 40 LPA, average was 10 LPA

- Discipline: Here they are maintaining very good discipline among the students.
- Management:The management system is very good.
- Campus Infrastructure is very beautiful and Greenery is the heart of it

- At many classrooms there are no ACs as well as their seats could have been better
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well my interest was in Computers specially in Software parts so I decided to choose Computer Science and Engineering. It's well designed for real world. They should try to be more practical rather than staying on that old school methods.

- Placement is good in our college for both circuital and non-circuital
- 100 percent placement is there for computer science department
- College campus is big and lots of greenery is there.
Dislikes
- Lots of renovations required in college.
- Buildings are older as comparison to other new college
- New canteen required for north indian food.
Placement Experience:
From seventh semester we are eligible for placement and 6 month internship. Placement percent is almost 100 for cse department and 90 percent for all departments in nit trichy. Average package of cse is 2900000.

Placement Experience:
The placements are very good. There are lots of opportunities for students to grab. Many big tech MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Oracle etc visit the college for internships and full-time jobs. The highest package of this year is 60lac per annum.

- Good infrastructure and facilities required for studies and sports
- Good senior junior relationships that guides students also most of the things in college are student run so that helps both senior junior bonding and skillsets
- Good club culture with facilities resources and guidance and active pursuit of innovation from the side of both admin and students
Dislikes
- Hostels may not be the best but they are good , just regular hostel issues
- Mess food is not consistently good but not as bad as some may describe
- The location is slightly rural so you may not have the fun of studying in a city
Placement Experience:
So nitt is known as a placement hub and it does do a good job in that aspect , students can get ppos from 4 th year start and can sit for placements as well from 4 th year. Many many companies visit and the placements are above 90 percent for circuital branches so difficult to tell the numbers . Highest from what I ve heard can go up to 50 ish and average is around 18 24 for circuital branches . My plans are to pursue post grad

- COLLEGE DON'T SPEND ENOUGH ON SPORTS AND EXTRACURRICULARS
- INFRASTRUCTURE OF COLLEGE IS NOT UP TO DATE AND NEED UPGRADATION
Course Curriculum Overview:
LOOK THE CURRICULUM WHICH WE STUDY IN FIRST TWO YEARS WILL NOT BE RELEVANT TO INDUSTRY AND LAST TWO YEARS, WE GET TO LEARN MANY INDUSTRY RELATED APPLICATION BUT IT WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT, WE HAVE TO OURSELVES LEARN IT. SO, DON'T DEPEND ON COLLEGE FOR THAT.
I THINK COLLEGE SHOULD REMOVE IRRELEVANT TOPICS IN 1st AND 2nd YEAR CURRICULUM.

- Curfew for girls after 9:15 is being difficult in emergency situations
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is the best part of our college. Almost everyone will get placed and there will be lot many opportunities and different domains that a person can aim for.
Core, analytics, software roles will be there.

- Placement opportunities are a lot to grab and they provide internship opportunities
- Supportive faculty if you want to do research
- Great sports who want to explore their options.
Dislikes
- We need to adjust for the mess food regarding spices and all.
- If you don't have cycle or cycle repair then it will be difficult to go from one place to another place.
Placement Experience:
Our college provides placements and it's the best part here. If you are an average student also you will get placed in a very good company with decent salary. The companies they bring are also standard and are trustable.
There will be a campus placement team which helps and coordinate between students and companies for smooth process.

It is quite to the latest curriculum nothing much and nothing less, it is infact what you call the perfect mix of practical with theory we have ample projects to sork on and we also get tough tests to test ys while we are taking the course

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
