The campus area is vast and is pleasant to live
Ample amount of shops for all services across campus

Dislikes

Hygeine inside the campus is bad including washrooms
Complaints raised are rectified after a long time

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is more relevant as compared to basics but as compared to applications it lacks behind time. We study the elements of a particular topic that were used way back in time rather than the current ones.

Class Size: 132Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise tuition fee - ?15,000 Year wise Hostel Fee - ?90,000 No scholarships for hostel fee Tution fee is not required for even semester Fine and dues are required for register or deregistering a late course

Campus Life

Overall experience is neutral. The academic life and placement life is well enough over my expectations. However the hostel Life is more discomforting and unhygienic. Also for travelling in the campus cycles are required and no vehicles are allowed

Admission

This college is the top NIT in India and has a really good reputation as compared to other IIT's . Also the placement record and allumini connections here are way more better than most other institutions

Faculty

The faculty is amazing here. They are helpful and supportive in every manner. Academic wise also the professors are helpful and provide ample amount of resources to study. The faculty has really good connections with different companies and institutions for refferals

Night Life

Nightlife is very dull here. Girls are not allowed to leave their hostels in the night . Night time the rules areore strict and we are not allowed to leave the campus areas. Also the area outside the campus is not completely safe

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
