I want to explore my career in the management field after completing my engineering. So that I may get better opportunities in big Mnc s companies. Faculty students ratio is 1: 30. Which is very good. Faculties are well qualified and experts in their domain of subject. Exams are happening on a timely basis only. Rarely any delays happen due to some different consequences
the faculty members of the college are copperative and they have a good knowlege of the subjects the teachers and staff is expericiencd more than 20 years. and having a deep knowledge of the topics..'
The highest package offered in LPU last year stood at 3 cr to btech students and the company was MNC 1190 companies visited and offered jobs and 400 students got jobs up to 10 LPA My plan is to get a place in mnc with a good salary package
Do you think the data is wrong ? Report Here
I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:
I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-
The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.
Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.
This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.
Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
