Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Likes

The thing I like the most is safety .lpu take cares of all students safety
Another thing is that the campus is neat and clean and well disciplined
Third thing is that the campus provide anti ragging environment

Dislikes

There is no transport facility to go to college for free
Gym timing is only 45 minute they should increase this
When rain came hostel ground filled with water

Placement Experience:

Yes the placement rate are high in this college as it provide 80 percent placement to student if I didn't get placement from college I can apply to any company after getting my degree from lpu or I can go for higher studies

Overall our University is best.

Likes

I also liked the behaviour of faculty,our batchmates also.
I also liked the discipline of University.
I also liked the security of Hostel and campus.

Dislikes

No free transport means in University in which we can go to our classes at time.
Time limit is also a bad thing in Gym, because 45 min. Is not sufficient.
The last one thing I don't like is that less holidays of campus.

Placement Experience:

In 6th to 7th semester students are able for getting placement.Their are many big companies visit in our campus like Amazon, Google, Paytm, Microsoft.The highest packages of our University is 2.5 crore and average package is 10 to 14 lakhs per annum.

My university review

Likes

The campus is big and has everything like every sports ground , mall , indoor sports , a lots of shops
Thes classes are all ventilated and right now the teachers are also good
They have a cab facility that is really good and a lot of events are happening right now

Dislikes

It does have lot of crowd which I don't really like as I am a indoor person
You can eat non veg from only one place called food factory
The classes don't really have break in between them

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Likes

huge campus with good Infrastructure with huge diversity people
good facultys and good education system like other big university
plenty of opportunities to explore new things like club ,interships, many culturals

Dislikes

the hostel rooms are not expected to the price
The match food is not to good as a mentioned
The laundry service is not good as the mentioned

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

I have experienced a lot of opportunity in this campus like researching, editing,graphics,and much more things in the university.
Girls and Boys ratio is 60:40 in the campus.
The much better opportunity which I have experienced in the campus is earning potential for all students in the campus like they research and invent a purpose thing in campus which is helpful for all.

Dislikes

Warden are too strict because I am saying this any type of mistake is made by ourself they fined us.
We will not take entry from the backside of college gate.
In this campus there is nothing fit in our budget.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course BTech Cse which I have choose it influenced me because in this course there are many goal like you may became masters in any field like data scientist, best coder,phytonist,java you may take masters in any field.

A practical Review of LPU's MA English Program

Affordable fees; Flexible Learning; Study material; Faculty; Recognition

Dislikes

Student Engagement- It's the final sem and I'm still unaware of the names of batchmates; Network issue; No real campus vibe;
In our batch, out of around 20-30 students per class, only 5-6 are boys.

Placement Experience:

Placements come through the online portal, with an average pacakge of 3 lakh LPA. I plan to prepare for govt. exams ans explore content writing after completing the course. Opportunities are there if you actively apply.

Collage campus and collage food and food courts
Teacher's are good more practical knowledge is there
9 to 5 collage timing makes us to work same as the corporate life

Dislikes

The early morning class ya its difficult to get up early
Fully veg campus thats what i hate the most
And the number of student its uncountable looks more like a railway station

FROM CLASSROOM TO CONFIDENCE

Good and Huge campus, many states are there by which you will see diversity. And the Girls ratio boys is 62:8, this time in my course in 1st year there were only 8 girls in a class of 70.
EVENTS- There are events are conducted everyday.
There are many courts for all the sports for playing.

Dislikes

Mess Food is very unlikely to eat, the quality is bad.
During rainy season there will be everywhere water bulged up in roads infront of hostels.
High hostel price, the hostel after very small compare to what we pay if you buy room outside in half the same price you will get very good room with ac, fridge ,etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
