Truth about colleges

Likes

The view of the campus is very beautiful and also the staff members are very friendly
The food court of the university is delicious because many students were come from different society's
There was a high security for both boys and girls

Dislikes

The campus is too big you have to walk to reach your classroom
The drainage system does not work properly in rains
The university has too many buildings whenever ive looked for my classes in those buildings i am getting late and then the attendance will happen

The placement of our college is excellent every students who is deserving that package is get placed in their dream companies and other fields whenever the talk of the placement our college wouldn't disappointed us thai is the impressive thing that i have a listen from my seniors and i think the rumours are correct over comparison of other colleges the placement is very good most of the students get more than 10 lpa package in my field that is quite impressive for the btech program and for the students

Firstly the infrastructure of this college is outstanding, how it is being properly managed with such number of students feels incredible.
Secondly the people here are so friendly no matter they are students or teacher or staff.
Last one is options for different type of feilds we can involve into through the clubs.

Placement Experience:

In lpu, I think internships starts from 3rd semester and in 3rd year we can avail placements. Companies visited here are google, microsoft, amazon, paypal etc. Highest pacage from btech cse is 64lpa and avg is 30 lpa. In btech cse 90 percent placement ratio is here.

Why I chose LPU ?

Likes

Firstly the security of LPU campus is too good. Full campus is secured with 24*7 camera surveillance, more than 250+ experienced security personnel, proper powerful flood lights, face detector at hostels for check in and check out.
Food of the mess is too good. There are also more than 100 food courts.
They provide us good experienced faculties for each subject. With those teachers in good tech-equipped classrooms or labs it feels too good.

Dislikes

There is no gap between two consecutive periods so we have to request our teachers for some time for classroom shifting or may be for a pee break.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Compus facilities are good well maintained compus clean and clear good.
Faculty is also good very supportive and good in nature no strict teacher like khadus .
Caruclam is also good in first semester they teach html ,css , javascript,also python that is good

Dislikes

Compitition mainly in cse they give very high quantity of students.like only in cse related branch student count is 10000
Peear group they give addmission of any one who is able for engineering or not
Hidden charges they charge for any extra activities like english speaking, sports any thing

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

The infrastructure of the college is very highly standard.
The system of admission and reporting in the college for first time for admission is very easy because they have created a very good system.
The professor are nice to everyone and very helpful and highly knowledgeable.

Dislikes

As the university is too big so it sometimes is too painful to walk so much.
Sometimes the security guards are not cooperative.
University doesn't provide non veg foods in the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are moderately good and improving every year. The training & placement cell is active in inviting companies and conducting pre-placement workshops such as aptitude tests, mock interviews, and resume-building sessions.

i think from 4 th semester. students are eligible fr placements. google, microsoft, amazon and all mass recuiters came to college . highest package is 64 la amd average package is 7 to 8 lpa for cse. and if you are good in studying you get 10 lpa plus package

All truth about LPU its campus its night life, its placement, internship and the events.

Likes

The diversified culture in the university, students from each and every state are present.
The events organized by the seniors and the university is commendable
The faculty is too good, they discuss the real world problems in the class giving the students the idea about the industrial demands

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the hostel especially the boys hostel
To go out of the campus you have to apply for a leave which are limited to 75 day leaves and 60 night leaves for each sem

Placement Experience:

You can get your internship from the very first year and if the internship is paid your whole graduation will be done for free. The top companies like amazon, google, Microsoft, Capegemini, JP Morgan recruit students and many service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO also come. The placement percentage for lpu is 80-90%

Placement Experience:

At LPU, students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture and many others visit the campus. In 2025, more than 2,200 companies came and offered 6,000+ jobs. The highest package touched ?3 crore (international) and around ?62 LPA (domestic). For CSE, the average is around ?7–8 LPA, and the top 25% students bag an average of ?10 LPA+. MBA students had up to 95% placements, with the highest at ?29 LPA and average around ?8 LPA. Most students get placed if they are consistent. My plan after degree is to grab a good placement, keep building my skills in tech, and later explore higher studies or startups depending on where life takes me.

All the Facilities inside the campus u don't need to go out of the campus for anything
Exposure to everything like someone interested in any other skill then u can just showcase ur talent
Doctor appointment is free for students and well maintained hospital in the campus

Dislikes

So much restrictions like boys and girls can't dance together in any fest and many more security system is too much tight
Intake is not defined like in 2025 more than 25-30k students admitted in Lpu so u can get faint by just seeing the crowd 😂. Although i just want placement should be good here that's my main moto for joining any clg
U have to walk so much to go anywhere in the campus but there's an golfcart service which charges u 15rupees

Placement Experience:

Placements are good means if u will study u will get placed and if u don't then u will be mass cut or like in sales company and the average package is 6-7lpa for Cse but if u want more than that and want exceptional u have to work hard on skills and cgpa.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
