Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the course curriculum at my college as highly relevant and well-structured it's because like in the very first semester you are going to learn this coding like python, HTML , CSS ,and Java script. In the second semester a soft skill course is included in your curriculum si that you are well prepared for the interviews and this course improve your communication skills. The the students are given advantages under Edu-Revolution through which they can reduce the burder of course, like if you have prior knowledge of any subject and you have a proof like certificate for that then that course will be removed from your semester, and best on the proof you can also upgrade your grade of the course in which you go could not get good grade. The curriculum prepares students well for real world applications through projects, presentations, and practical exposure.

Internships Opportunities

4

My college provides good intership oppertunity for students, especially in technical courses like CSE. Many companies such as TCS , Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and other startups offer intership roles like Software Developer Intern, Web Developer Intern, Data Analyst Intern and System Engineer Intern. The stipend usually depends on the company, but it can range from ?8000 to ?25000 per month for most interships. During interships, students work on real time projects such as developing websites, creating software applications, working on data analysis, testing applications or supporting backend systems. These projects help students gain practical knowledge and improve their technical and communication skills. The outcome of these internships is very beneficial because students get industry exposure, hands-on experience and sometimes even pre-placement offers. Overall internship opportunities at my college help students prepare for real-world jobs and improve their career prospects.

Placement Experience

4

There are many campus placements in my college. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester, and major companies start coming during 7th and 8th semesters. Major reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant and Accenture visit the campus every year and offer good number of job to students . The highest package of my college is 3.5 cr. The average package for CSE students ranges between 4 to 6 LPA depending upon the company and students skill. Profile offered include software developer, data analyst.A good percentage of eligible students get placed every year as the university provides proper training, mock interviews, and skill development programs. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good placement through campus recruitment. Later I may also consider for showing higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for the academic year 2026 is increased to ?320000 that is increases by ?20000.This fees includes uniform fee which cost ?4000. Later you have to pay ?9000 examination fees which includes both semesters. I had paid ?140000 for 1 year (?70000 for one semester) on getting 50% scholarship. Additional fee includes unifor fee which is ?4000 (paid for one time) and examination fee which is ?90000 for 1 year (?4500 per semester). The programme(or tuition) fee is increasing @40000 per year and for year 2026 the tuition fee is ?320000 per year (?160000 per semester). You can get scholarship upto 60% which is valid upto your whole course duration. The maximum scholarship amount is different for different phase admission means if you applied for the phase-1 you can get maximum 60% scholarship and it will reduce for other phase admission. There are different types of scholarship, the university provides the first one is on the basis of LPUNEST exam (the above info I have written is according to LPUNEST exam) ,second is need based in which you can get additional 20% , third one is on the basis of class 10th or 12th performance you can get maximum 60% scholarship.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience at my college has been very good and enjoyable. The campus environment is friendly and culturally diverse. The annual fest "One India" which was held during my first semester and showcases different cultures and talents. Technical events and competitions are regularly organised by different departments. The university library has a large collection of books, journals and digital resources. Students can easily access ebooks and online study materials for research and learning. Classrooms are equipped with smartboard, projectors and Wi-Fi facilities. Computer labs have updated systems and software for practical learning. The university provides excellent sports facilities like cricket ground, football fields ,basketball court and a gym. Many students run clubs such as coding clubs, cultural clubs, and entrepreneurship clubs help students develop skill and confidence. Overall, campus life at my college supports both academy growth and extracurricular development.

Hostel Facilities

4

I have chosen four-seater hostel room. The room has four beds , four almirahs for keeping clothes , two tubelights and two ceiling fans, attached bathroom with a geyser and an air conditioner. There is also a balcony where we can dry our clothes. A maid comes every one or two days to clean the room and bathroom. On every floor, there is a water cooler where students can fill drinking water. I have opted for a three time meal plan in the hostel mess. In breakfast b grade items like paratha, pasta, bread, dosa, sambar, etc. In lunch, food like chole bhature, dal, rice, and other dishes are served. At dinner we usually get paneer sabji, roti, and regular meals. The food quality is generally good and hygienic. To choose the hostel, students can apply through online after the booking their seats or when they come to college for remaining process of admission.

Admission

I had given JEE Main examination in which I could not get good rank that's why I can't get good nits in JOSSA ,and also I had no any idea about other colleges except this one so I had not applied for that. For the admission process you have to first register for the lpunest which can be done online and it charges around 1000 rupees through which you can get maximum 60% scholarship. After applying you can book your exam slot , you can give test either online or at centre, and wait for the result. Based on your LPUNEST score , you can choose preferred branches and secure a seat through online counselling. After that you have to pay ?10000 confirm your seat. After that you can come to college on the given date where you have to go to stay by step process like paying the tuition fees and paying hostel fees , mess fees if you choose. A minimum of 60% aggregate in 10+2(PCM) is needed to apply. You should qualify LPUNEST examination to take admission. To take admission under CSE branch you rank should be around 1 lakh for general category.

Faculty

4

The faculty student ratio is somewhere around 25: 1 depending upon the courses you are pursuing. The teachers here are really good because whenever you asked a doubt eating get solved in the class and if you do not get satisfied with the answer at that moment then you can go to their cabins and personally ask the doubt and get the answer. I like Bhaskar Chakrabory sir who is my maths faculty because he give detailed explanation of each topic of maths and made us to solve good number of problems in class to clear our concept.I aslo like my python faculty, Girish Gupta sir as he sometimes sits next to you and explained to you whenever you can't get a topic. There is one faculty of my CSE111 , kaur mam and I don't say that I don't like her but I will say I feel difficulty in understanding that subject because of her teaching style. There are different types of exams categorised as CA (Claas Assessment), Mid-term and End-term. There can be maximum 3 CAs for each course one mid-term and end-term.The exam parttern includes MCQ type test for theory subjects, subjective type for maths, drawing subjects, and code based test for python, etc. The exams are easy to pass and , a student can get good CGPA(7+) if you do little hard work. Maths and coding languages subjects are little hard to pass. Most course are MCQ based taken on which sums upto 5 exams in each subject.Commenting on easy or difficult is subjective thing but I think that if a student just do normal study then he can pass the exams easily.

Interview Experience

4

For admission to my college, LPU, I had to appear for the LPUNEST entrance exam. There was no any Group Discussion, interview or written test for my course, but entrance exam was compulsory. The exam includes MCQ type questions from subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The pattern was objective type, and the exam checked basic concepts and problem solving skills. The admission process was simple. First, I applied online and booked my exam slot. After qualifying for LPUNEST and meeting the eligibility criteria (minimum marks in 12th with PCM), I participated in the online counseling process and selected my course. After that, I paid the required fees to confirm my admission. To prepare for the entrance exam, I revised my 11th and 12th class concepts, especially Mathematics and Physics. I also practiced English questions. Regular revision and solving sample questions helped me perform well in the test.

Night Life

4

The nightlife at my college is good and student friendly. After classes, students usually spend their time in uni mall , food courts or sit in open areas inside the campus. Some cafeterias remain open till late evening and a few food outlets stay open till around 10 or 11 pm. The gym is open during the day and evening hours, while the library is opened from 8 am in morning to midnight 12am for study purpose. Hostel students have fixed in-timing at night, and campus has proper turnstile at all gates . The entry and exit from campus main gate is always monitored by guards during day and night. The campus environment is safe and security guards are present at 24/7. Inside campus, students usually hang out at the food court, central lawn areas and sports complex. Outside the campus, there are small cafe, restaurants and local markets where students go to relax. The hostel students can move around after applying hostel leave application.
