Worthy for price

About 90 percent of the students get placed over here in our course. Placements start after the sixth semester. The highest international package was INR 3 crore, and the highest domestic package is around INR 50 lakh. Very few students get that high package. The average package is around INR 7 LPA overall and INR 12 LPA in our course.

The infrastructure of our department building is good. Classrooms are spacious and also have ACs. The projector is also there, and it works fine. Labs are also present for different subfields. Equipment is kept up-to-date. One problem is in the computer lab, where some computers have older processors that need to be replaced. The library is also very good. It has all the books and journals. Hostels on the LPU are very bad in terms of infrastructure and facilities. Four students have to stay in a not-so-big room, making it uncomfortable for them. There are no common rooms for recreational activities. Toilets are also very old (Indian style). Mess of lpu is the worst. Food is not at all hygienic. Many students take food from outside. Medical facilities are quite good. Anyone can visit the medical centre when they are not feeling well.

chose this course because I was always interested in art. Best thing about my course is you can learn everything that is sculpture, graphics, painting and photography in first year and in second year you have to choose between those 4 options for your career. If I had an opportunity to improve something about my course then I would give students more knowledge about more software rather than just asking them about their assignments. Lpu is really good for events and extracurricular activities, surroundings also nice.

Not many companies come for Fine arts. And even if they come only one specialisation gets placement. And they don't keep a check on how companies are treating their students. Only internships are offered in our course so that's really bad and not satisfactory.
