Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was good and excellent and was upto the industry standards and definitely competitive against all other competitiors in the coumtry. The curriculum not only focused on theory but also focusd on practical knowledge as well.
Internships Opportunities
The internships that were supposed to do were mandatory and had to be completed for 2 months. However on companies instructions the durations could be extended for each internships. The stipends provided from Rs. 10000 to Rs. 40000.
Placement Experience
The placements are okay for the BBA and MBA departments. The average salary isn't actually that good for the students and most of the roles that companies come for hiring do not target the desired roles of the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid about Rs. 136000 yearly for 2 terms (Rs. 68000 for single term) combined during BBA (which consisted of 6 total terms). Then Rs. 145000 per term for the MBA program (which consisted of 4 total terms). As for scholarships, if the student was within the following criterias, then the following scholarship amounts were provided:- LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category D cutoff or 80-89.99% or above in 12th or 10th, then 30% of programme fee LPUNEST..... Category C..... or 90-94.99% or above in 12th or 10th, then 40% of programme fee LPUNEST..... Category B..... or 95-97.99% or above.... then 50%... LPUNEST..... CAtegory A..... or 98% or above... then 60% LPU RISE - 100% scholarship if Grp A - National Rank holders in Competitive exams, Grp B - Admissions to Elite Institutioins, Grp C - Toppers of School/Education Boards and HIgher Education Institutions
Campus Life
The campus life is okay in the university, we got plenty of breaks as well as good spaces and places within the campus to spend time in whether with friends or faculties. Also the food courts for example were great as well.
Admission
I chose this college over other colleges because I saw the high quality learning and ranking of this college as compared to other colleges. I also considered the high quality faculty as well and the recreational activities.
Faculty
Faculty relationship with the students is friendly and supportive. Some (not all) were very supportive and communicative personally. They did help out in various college issues, related with assignments, placements etc. Mrs. Neha Kohli was an amazing professor. She was not only wholesome but also kind and supportive in out work. I did not like Mrs. Megha Singh because she was not as kind as other professors in the university, however she was very knowledgable and helpful. Each semester had 2 terms and each term had an exam in the end.
Interview Experience
Yes, the selection process consisted of personal interview only and the university had an entry test called LPUNEST. It was an easy to medium test and had questions that were pretty relevant with entry level admission stuff.
Night Life
The nightlife is excellent in the campus. THe campus is usually quite and do not have much noise or crowd activity. Students can freely roam around and also hit up food joints and spaces within the campus.
