Likes
- One thing I really like about my college is well structured exam patterns and evaluation system is balanced and in systematic way.
- Lab access : Excellent lab access provided by the college and well equipped and accessible by any schedule time
- Library: College library is another strong asset. They provide textbook, reference book that really helped me during placement and exams.
Dislikes
- Placement was not as expected. Most of companies that they provide are for sales role that is not helpful for btech students so this is disappointment after investing so much of money, it is kind of waste.
- Size of the classroom is quite big. Apart from classroom they give admissions to so many student, there is no as such eligibility criteria.
- Professors are not upto mark. They don't provide practical knowledge, basically they only focus on theory.
Course Curriculum Overview
Coding,designing and research basically influenced me to choose this course. Overall the course was good but if they focus more on practical knowledge it will be more helpful. Teachers should more focus on labs and coding part rather than theory knowledge.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. Hp, TCS, Accenture, opentext, Mphasis. Highest package was 24 lakh by movin sinc 40% of students get placed in my batch. I got One placement from college
Fees and Financial Aid
1,50,000 yearly fees Tuition fees per semester was around 75000, registration fees - 10000, admission fees - 10000, lab fees - 5000. There are different categories that totally depends on scholorship :- 65000, 80000
Campus Life
There were so many fests and carnivals, I can say every 2 months they provide something exciting. Alot of books , journals, novals are available in the library. Every month there was hackathons. Sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus
Hostel Facilities
Mess was not upto mark, quantity was good but quality was not good. Registration process for the the hostels is very easy , they have there own prtal for hostel booking we can directly book our hostel from there but the fees is high.
Admission
The other colleges I was looking for was Graphics era and amity university. I choose LPU because of scholorship, fees stucture and placement and location. The admission process was almost same for all colleges.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is good. Faculties are approachable they give guidance and help. Shweta ma'am pes faculty. She is very helpful. There are total 2 exams in every semester, The ratio of clearing the exam is good.
Night Life
There was 2 gym in the campus, 2 libraries and public area is also good. There was 7 hostels for girls and timing is 7:30pm. Hangout places lpu mall, gaming zone and nearby alot of places to enjoy. Overall experience is good
