Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Best atmosphere with full of greenery which helps the students to have mental peace anywhere in the campus
Best Library & Reading Room facilities even have a separate and up to date materials for Compititive exams
Administration support to students in every university event by any department and for any festival

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses such as M.com(Account & Taxation) , Green energy Engineering are only available in South India which are most important for the upcoming future Each and every class of our course go through the application methods which improves the ability of study No need of improvements as the faculties and facilities are available as required The exams are conducted after acknowledgement of completion of syllabus in required subject thoroughly & results will be within 10 days of completion of exams

Freedom :- there is not much restrictions and gedgements
Friendship :- students are very friendly and close
Good campus experience and academics and people

Road service is very poor and worthless and a dissaster
Medical service is poor and worthless and dissaste
Mess food is very bad and poor and not helthy

I took m.com accounting and taxation for aquiring more knowledge in marketting and business and get more practice in accounting. The curriculum prepare me to do accounting and tax calculation etc. Teaching method and other should be need improvement and teaching should be more practical base. Exams are condecting sem bace thats are not much difficult.

The culture of university is good students from every part of india come here
The fesrivals in the university is awsome

Road inside the university is pathetic.Rhere is no maintenance for the roads
University need good health facilities to be improved
The quality of mess food should be improved

The curriculam includes 90 credit to compleate the cource.Each hard core subject having 4 credit and student should take 12 credit as softcore.The papers are related to accountin and taxation like Income tax, gst,international tax etc

The facilites in the hostel are very good and hostal fee is affordable for students
The department having air conditioned classrooms
The culture of the campus is good, because most of the students comes from all the states

Dislikes

The roads inside in the university is not properly maintaining
There is no grocery or canteen near of hostels
Transportation facilities should be improved

My life in Pondicherry University

Likes

Reading room facility available almost 20 hrs a day
Library facility accessible for 6 days a week
Bus facility for commuting between hostels and classes

Dislikes

Poor Placement cells which should be increased
Poor administration regarding overall planning and control
Lack of internship opportunity for willful students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is specified in Accounting and Taxation which is not available in most of the universities. But considering the real world application, No in depth practical skills can be achieved. Our own efforts along with Carriculam will work greatly. Exams are happening timely in Semester wise. Results can be expected within a week after the exam.

The campus is explore 24*7, no restrictions.
The other facilities like library, grounds, gym also explore.

The department and hostel are some long distence.
Only limited time provide inside of the campus
One department to another department distence is some long.

Iam choosed mcom accounting and taxation. In this time i think it is relavent. The teaching method is very usefull to study through practical. I think it is better. The carriculum prepared the latest updation of that subject.

Likes

The overall atmosphere of the campus.The faculty's.
The students from different states and from other countries
The basic facilities offered by the university

Dislikes

The mess food was sometimes bad.The infrastructure facilities

Untold story of Pondicherry University

Likes

Calm and quiet reading room which having AC and light on and it closes at 3 am.
Shopping complex inside the university named "Ponlait" can have asscessories.
Fair class time. And can choose any softcore according to our preference.

Dislikes

Road infrastructure is too poor in University.
Mosquito is too much there. Can't sleep properly.
Not having proper computer labs for students. Not getting any refund and reduction in mess fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course helps to improve knowledge. As well as by having internship in 2nd sem having practical knowledge. Also having a research/project in 3rd semester. Workshop in end semester. Faculties are really helping. And they suggest some sites too. Only having 3 hours class in a day for hardsore. That also helping to earn money by going part-time jobs.

I am doing Masters of commerce in A&T, it is a Semester course and the duration of the course is 2 years. I want to be an Entrepreneur, that's why I chose commerce as a field of study. The faculty is to student ratio is about 1:40. The teachers are experienced and some of them are Graduates and Post graduated from premier institutes like IIM Indore. Exams are held sem wise.

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
