Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

All about Pondicherry University

Likes

The university campus is worth studying for indulging in nature and a peaceful environment.
The facilities are great here, they have library, reading halls, canteen, engineering wing, placement wing, nss, ncc and much more.
You can have great exposure to different kind culture and traditions and it accommodate various students from various regions

Dislikes

Still it needs regular maintenance and need for more buildings
Some professors and scholars are not fit to be reached here and still they opt this place
One major drawback is the location of the University as it is present in the outskirts of the Pondicherry

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Ba. BEd. history because it has professional value and also helps int he upsc exams. The curriculum revolves around practical work such as in history we learn about museums, epigraphys, manuscript and also world history which gives us a upper hand in practical work. As for bed we cover basic pedagogy, psychology and teacher development and also practical sessions, Currently there is no need in any change as it already covers both practical and theoretical domains. The frequency of exam is vast and difficulty level is medium it would be great if there is a little gap between papers

Likes

Lab facilities and friendly teaching nature
Cultural events with more number of celebrities
Infrastructure of college campus with lift facilities

Dislikes

Rules about bringing mobile phones to college in 1st year
Holidays on Saturday are only alternative
Forcing students to do their lab courses

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good and in increasing phase. Placements training is also provided in college from 6th semester as per students wish. Combination of core and software companies will hire students in placement

Likes

I like the way they teach the class overall the facility members are well trained and more supportive for the statements placements.
I also like the lab and college infrastructure the still maintain in a good way
I also like the transport facility and hostel facility which is arranged by the management for the outdoor students.

Dislikes

They didn't give the same preference or same share to the sports
I didn't like the time they allocate for the lunch the class hours is one hour and the lunch is 40 minutes
You may not be able to adjust to how fast the life at college

Likes

The qualification of faculty is very good even they teach us from scratch
Infrastructure is also decent and electricity and water never get off
They course curriculum is way more organised and they gave schedule in advance

Dislikes

We get very less amount of holiday specially north side people due to lack of festival
The co curricular activities are very less .and events are also not very good
The engeneering comittee is very bad if some issues happened in lecture hall we have to give 5 times letter to the dean

Likes

There is no girls boys different in my college.All are equal
The teachers in that college is very friendly to student
The campus is beautiful and very neat. So i like to sit in that place so much

Dislikes

Some students are week in study.It is not teacher problem at all.Teachers are very good
There is no student bus in that college so that so many students come in the private bus
Some more functions can do in that college

The course curriculum is very simple and very nice to study. In my opinion i like to study the subjects all around.i wish to study again and again in that college and that class also that subjects.The teacher also i telling that college teachers are amazing to study and also everything.There method of teaching is very comfortable

Campus life is really really great and beautiful, very much enjoyable, and campus is full of greenery and special mention of great night life in campus.
Hostel facilities are really good, safe and cleaned properly.
Really good transport system inside the campus, and special mention for library and reading room also the campus connect internet facility.

Dislikes

Teachers are not that good in subjects, and they are not helpful at all.
Professor are not equipped with proper knowledge and having behavior issues.
Too much hot environment during summer time.

I appreciate that college teaching is good and sports is best and infrastructure want to improve and they need to add some valuable course
Campus life is feel peace and pleasant and social interaction is feel good with everyone talking to both male and female friends is quotes good
Teaching is quite better,teaching method is not bad,mentorship quality is good

Dislikes

Placement services and package they offer is not as expected..they need to improve
Infrastructure is not good as expected and labs are not as much as convenient
After completing BTech Ece I need to become a professional embedded engineer

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students eligible for campus placements and companies like vibro, Infosys,ignite labs visited our college and they offered 4.5 lakhs per annum and highest package is 4.5 lakhs per annum and average packing is 2 lakhs per annum and 100 percent placement is guaranteed and I am planning to become embedded engineer after completing my degree

I liked my campus environment and friendly staffs
University infrastructure is very good and have many facilities
The air ventilation in this college is so good and the equipment used in this college is up to date

I dislike the transportation facility near this college
Sometimes language barriers happens because of the students from different states
Canteen is to be improved and sitting facility to be improved

Campus environment , diversity of students,events that' ll happen in the campus, Greenary
Faculty are well experienced with having phd in their particular field and they'll teach us through ppt and they will guide us well that we can have a good knowledge about our future
Infrastructure of the campus and hostel are very well maintained regular checking along with the repairs are done

I have a thought to do my higher education in the field of molecular biology and thats why I've chosenbthis Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.my course will fill me up with good amount of knowledge that I can move to further step with this amount of knowledge.our curriculum is currently fine I don't think they should change anything but to increase IV tours ,exams are conducted for monthly basis

The security system is quit bad with the staff

There is no holydays like ther will be more tight during exams

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
