Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Environment, department, syllabus is vast
Since it is a central Universities it has a large campus
The opportunity I will get to do internships like iit

Dislikes

Attitude of some faculties towards students.
Fees is too high compared to other central universities
For setting up timetable we have to go for each department which is frustrating

Though I wanted to do research in physics I wanted to have bachelors, masters and PhD. For having excellent base i wanted to study in a central university to get wide knowledge about the subject. In Pondicherry University the syllabus is very vast and will have a knowledge about the whole subject

My collage is ok but many thinks better than other collages one thinks is i appreciate that the some teachers are teach's like brothers
I don't have interest to involve in social interaction because i have done in my past now i can study for my future
I don't develop any personal and professional development I don't why but am improve my self

Dislikes

Every student dislike colleges for the rules i think my college is very strict
I think change my teach staff because didn't teach well

Placement Experience:

Yes i have seen many of my sinors got placement but The package is lees i 6 &7,8semester students are eligible for placement interview i think 70 I don't particularly i have so many plans for after getting degree

Likes

Diversity of the campus. As it is a Central University,people from all states will be here and some foreigners too. Which enhances your communication ability and network.
Culture. You can explore all cultures of India in a single campus through the celebrations of all the festivals by students in campus.
People. In campus, u can see strangers helping strangers for all things which is rare to find outside of the campus. People are very friendly.

Dislikes

Roads are very bad. No proper basic infra like health centre,etc. it's there just for name sake.
Basic things in labs have to bought by ourselves,which is a basic necessity for which we are already paying for through fees.
Some professors are not that supportive and judgemental too

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good. But in some cases labs are not that well equipped, which is a key backlog for student's academic activity. In many depts,lab facilities are compromised.in my course,lab equipment is less and if they have, they're bought by faculty's project money. So which is not a common thing to use by all stakeholders.

Likes

College infrastructure and look and design
Classes are well and clean properly and good
He all the facilities to drink , eat , and play

Dislikes

Some teacher are very rude and annoys sometimes
College rules are too Strict, it doesn't feel like college
They don't do many events for students .

The college has laboratory facility for geography and other departments.
The college has provided boyes and girls hostel.
The college has very big library including reading section and issue section.

Dislikes

The things that i dislike is poor wife conectivity.
other thing is canteen not open properly
In economics department faculty members are very less and not teach good also.

The curriculum that influenced me is the place is totaly not distractable students are focused on study. the curriculum is very good The college include undergraduate degree cources in the faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Cooperative Management. I suggest the include more subjects for students that can pursue more and also teacher can understand the student mind.

Faculty so experience and I like that teaching so much and the teaching atmosphere and the environment where we are studying is so nice and the patient exposes are we are getting his adequate and it will fill our wishes and its very good tourist stai
Here extra curricular activities or equally with education we have badminton volleyball football basketball courts and we have carroms chess and other games as well and the fitness and extra is good are campus is so special at night times we can able
It is a friendly atmosphere on the people are so good and so corporate

Dislikes

Everything I like about the campus and there is it some disadvantages that we don't have a own Hospital It's under construction
For hospital we have to go to government hospital karyakal which is near to us
We have bus facility available to reach GH Karaikal for postings

Placement Experience:

After completing our course here will do one year internship in any mean any other institute but mostly everyone choses here and there are nice placements here because the patient exposure and the way of teaching of faculty is very good so we can easily crack PG and other competitive exams by studying here and our placements are very nice

The faculties are very clean And hygienic atmosphere
The sport section faculties have everything
The canteens has some good food and maintain hygienic overall and budget friendly

Dislikes

The teacher are too strict about everthing
Some time the electricity goes of but not too much
Limited parking space for the vehicles of the students

Studying in a vacation town

Likes

Liberty to choose any course of your choice as elective from any department.
Faculty members. Most of them are kind, helpful and very approachable.
The campus life. It's fun, its liberal, it diverse.

Dislikes

Road construction of a certain part of the campus is very poor.
They take too many student per batch. There isn't any section division and it's difficult for us study in a herd.
Mess food was very bad. Now a new caterer took over. It's better

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most important point is it's similarity to NET CSIR joint examination. After the end of 3 semesters, if you study properly, you will be able to solve 70% csir c section with accuracy. As laboratory is not prioritized, you will have to struggle for real life experience. But inside info: you can tag along with scholars to get the hands on experience. Frequency of examination is too much with all the internals and all. Difficulty level is manageable as per masters.

Short and brief information about pondicherry university

Likes

I like the freedom they provide to enhance own self in university
It provides alot of activities acedimic and non academic to enhance our interest and skills overall
I like the diversity university has.. in university we can see the people those who are from different States.. it's a combination of south and north india.. it has to the diversity for different language and culture

Dislikes

Sometimes politics and dicremi ation between south and north people at the same time decremi ation between Telugu,tamil and malyalis
So much freedom sometimes people use it in a wrong way..
Not available of buses in right time so it's kind of difficult to go in and come in buses for classes

This course is good.. interesting and and it's very good in this University.. it's better than other universities as the campus is around beautiful environment it has nearby beaches.. which will help you to learn the difference geology course by experience.. teaching method they can improve in terms of regularity.. and giving study material which will help in competitive exams..when the exam starts it feels like never ending process we have per sem 2 internal and 1external

I like the campus, as it's filled with greenary which provides an atmosphere for artistic endeavours
I like the unity, they celebrate all the fastival in india
I like the security system, it's very safe

There is no good relationship among the faculties
They do partiality by putting more efforts on their favourite students
Monopoly is the main enemy, which is destroying the sanity of the students as well as the teachers

The course curriculum in first semester was quite good, but in third semester it's irrelevant, and the syllabus is quite huge, and hard to finish on time, which gives extra load to students, hence they get pressurised

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
