I choose MBA because in today's economy, that to employment world, MBA will be a perfectly apt since it helps in each and every way to grow our career like we can become a senior person in any corporate with our MBA career, also can go in banking fields, can start our own business and become entrepreneur, or can go by any professional career. So for every choice MBA is a key. The curriculum gives me great exposure to the economy to understand the current affairs and the future predictables. This curriculum pushes me to face the real world challenges which will come after my degree completion. I think most of the professors in my college using PPT slides and teaching with only key points. This needs to be changed since a post graduate students must get a practical exposure that too when it is a MBA students, they must understand what is business, corporate, company, company policies, etc. So frequently the college must take or just give permission to the students to Industrial visits, HR meetings, etc to get the knowledge of the companies now itself so it will be beneficial for them after their studies. The frequency of exam timings is enough for all to get prepared and face the exams. There are ample of time for us to prepare for our exams.

I think the internship opportunities are to be got by the students only. The college management will help only in getting placements for final year students. If a student from any year gets internship means, the college management will provide OD to the student's attendence only. So for placement, there is 100% guidance and help from the college and for Internship, it is the responsibility of the students to look and take it. Sometimes the professors may help the students to get some internship by referring to their known people. Even I too went to the Internship in my final Year in a company named as Pick You Trial in Tnagar area and they offered a stipend of ?15000 for Marketing role.

From the final year which means 5th and 6th semester for undergraduate students and 3rd and 4th semester for Post graduate students, it is eligible for them to attend the campus placements. In my MBA, we'll be eligible for next semester to attend the placements. But for undergraduate students, they might have got chances now to attend the placements. The companies visited for us when I was in Undergraduate in the same Loyola College are Deloitte, Accenture, Standard Chartered, Goldman Sachs, RR Donneley, Bank of America, Sutherland, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Equinty, Turing, and many more small companies also came. The overall placed students numbers were almost more than 300 among the final year students alone in the college which is a great achievement. The highest package offered for us is ?700000 from Goldman Sachs and the average package we received is ?300000 which is from all the small companies. The percentage of placed students in our college is almost 85% from our batch alone. So we hope that in this batch there might be more than 90%. The reason for 85% in our batch is most of the students has moved for higher studies. My plan after getting degree is to get a senior most position in any of the big company and grow in my career.

The overall course fees is ?100000... It will be paid as partially in each semester... For first semester I paid a fees of ?32000 which includes admission fees of ?7000... Then for now in second semester I paid a fees of ?17000... So in next semester I might be required to pay a fees of ?30000 and in last semester it would be ?20000. The overall fees of ?100000 includes all the tuition fees, book fees, etc... I think exam fees alone we need to pay seperately which costs of ?1700 to ?2500... For all my batchmates in that college but in different departments of MBA is same ?100000... Only for other courses the fees may be different or less... The college provides scholarship to the students where they'll provide ?5000 for each semester...

The college conducts 1 mega Event annually in the month of September. The event is called Ovation which is conducted for two consecutive days (usually Friday and Saturday). This is the biggest and most awaited event in our college where there will be big cinema celebrities, and other great personalities will be visited as chief guest. So the most enjoyable festival in our college is our cultural festival Ovation. Apart from that, there will be many small small Events conducted monthly and one grand Event similar to Ovation is conducted in a year where the performers are from other colleges and we only conduct the Event and recognize the winners. There are more than 1000 books in our library. The library is very big where we can have multiple books in different genres. We also have a digital library inside the library where we can access to the digital books through computers. The students can get wifi facilities but for that, they should get permission from the Administration office with a valid reason. There is a projector which helps the professors to take class with PPT slides. The light facility is available anytime with 5 to 6 fans inside one class itself. The college conducts annual sports day in the month of February every year. In the sports day there are events like running, shot put, hurdles, etc. There also many clubs and social service scheme in our college. There is an Outreach progress for students where the students are required to get reach out to slum areas and help the needy people as a part of their education.

I just applied for Gurunanak College and DG Vaishnava college also. I got call from Gurunanak College for MBA. But I choose Loyola because of it's brand reputation and high respect from public. It is one of the the top ranked colleges in Nation wise and first in Chennai. So as per this good and great characteristics, I choose Loyola over any other colleges. No, I didn't get any rejections from any colleges. Even I got selection confirmation from Gurunanak College but I didn't opt to it after I got confirmation from Loyola. DG Vaishana has sent me a mail for an entrance examination but I just ignored it after confirmation from Loyola. The admission process is very simple. First is online application. The applicant must fill all the necessary details in the application correctly and accurately without any mistake. Then after 2 to 3 weeks of thorough scrutiny, the admission officers will send us mail after we got shortlisted. The mail has details of the documents needed to bring to office with it's originals and Xerox for scrutiny and also they'll send the time and fees amount to be brought to pay. So they'll conduct an interview for the students and after that interview, they'll select the students and grant them admission. The eligibility criteria for the admission is 80% in 10th and 12th and 7CGPA in Undergraduate.

The relationship between the Faculty and the students is a great friendly relationship. There are 10 faculties in one department for 10 classes in a department. Each class has 60 to 70 students and for them there will be one faculty for 1 or 2 subjects. There is no particular faculty I like very much. Each and every faculty is my favourite. Every professors will respect each and every students and treat them like their own sons and daughters and will help them even in their down phases. Similarly there is no professors that I don't like. I like all the professors in my college. Because everyone helped me in my studies, careers, and also in many things they guided me. There are almost 3 exams in one semester. 2 internal examination which is conducted for 50 marks in the mid of the semester. One exam is conducted after 2 months the start of one semester and another internal exam in conducted before one month of start of semester examination. And the last is the Semester Examination which is conducted at the end of the semester usually in December months and May months. Semester exam is for 100 marks and it will be converted to 50... The two internal exam marks of 50 and 50 is added to 100 marks and then converted to 50... Now those semester 50 and combined internal 50 added together to 100 for overall semester exam marks.

The college is located in the main area of chennai, Nungambakkam. Behind the college area, there is one area named Choolaimedu which is a great place for many shops, Foods, Tea stalls, Fresh juice, Junk foods, Snacks, etc. The railway station is also behind the college itself. And ther is One park near the college. The college timings is from 8:15 to 1:15 for morning shift students and 1:30 to 6:30 for evening shift students and for us MBA students ther is only one shift and the timing is 8:30 to 1:30. The hostel gate will be closed after 8:30PM and before that all the students roaming outside in night time must enter inside the hostel. Inside the college there is one spot which we call as Lover's park ???? but literally that is a bare small place where rather than couples, friends in gang will have meetings and fun there having funny conversations, gossips, chitchats, even for studying, doing assignment works the place is choosen.
